London jewellery company Grand Pacaraima Gold Corp will use RFID tags for retail jewellery to reduce inventory management costs and improve anti-theft protection.


According to news reports, jewelers will produce jewelry-specific labels to track the location of labeled jewels in stores and warehouses. If the labeled items are taken away or not returned to the storage cabinet, the store management will receive an alert. Grand Pacaraima Gold obtained the production rights for this technology from an Israeli RFID company.
