Wireless network video monitoring system case of a smelting chemical plant in Sichuan
[ad_1]
The wireless network video surveillance system is one of the most widely used fields of wireless technology. Wireless network video surveillance systems are mainly used to monitor and control important areas or remote locations. Wireless network video surveillance technology is gaining more and more attention in power systems, smelting systems, telecommunications rooms, factories, urban transportation, water conservancy systems, and community security. The wider the application. The video monitoring system transmits the video files collected by the monitored point in real time to the monitoring center, and dynamically reports the situation of the monitored point in real time, so that problems can be found and dealt with in time.
1. User needs
1) Provide a remote image centralized management system for modern intelligent smelting plants to keep abreast of the status of the site; timely deployment of personnel and rational use of resources; simple methods to grasp and understand the safety conditions in and around the smelting plant;
2) Investment benefit consideration: the construction of the system not only needs to improve the management ability of the smelting unit, but also needs to improve the unit’s image and create positive benefits;
3) In the case of not increasing too much construction cost, it is best to have sound monitoring;
4) The video surveillance situation can be browsed at any time and at different places, and the latest situation of the smelting area can be grasped at any time;
5) The image of the monitoring point can be viewed through a browser. The monitoring center monitors all the images in the area that can be monitored. It can also set up a sub-control center to monitor some images. The rotation direction of the camera with the PTZ can be controlled on any network. It can also be linked with alarm equipment to perform alarm processing on moving images.
2. System advantages
1) Replace optical fiber and dedicated line, reduce the cost of network construction, and save a lot of expenses for users;
2) The construction period of the project is short;
3) Strong scalability;
4) Flexible and convenient installation and deployment;
5) Provide high reliability and ensure uninterrupted video surveillance;
6) High transmission rate and strong real-time performance;
7) Support remote monitoring;
8) The equipment has low cost and high cost performance.
Three, system composition
According to the on-site environment, we use the E-eye wireless network video surveillance system, which is based on an embedded WEB server, and uses D-LINK’s DCS-6620G and DCS-3220G wireless network products to obtain better wireless network video transmission.
In the external environment, a wireless local area network with wireless as the transmission medium is constructed in the smelter area, which can realize the rapid transmission of voice and video, which provides good conditions for the application of network video surveillance based on the embedded WEB server.
It is required to use 2.4g products for regional coverage and 5.8g products for backbone link transmission. The 2.4g product in the region can reach about 22M bandwidth, and the backbone link can reach about 23M.
If the wireless camera is far away from the wireless AP covered by 2.4G wireless, it is recommended to add a 12DIB directional antenna to the wireless camera to facilitate the transmission of the wireless camera far away from the wireless AP.
Four, system design
The monitoring system of the Sichuan Metallurgical Chemical Plant is mainly composed of four parts: the camera part, the transmission part, the control part and the display and recording part. The camera includes DLINK-DCS-6620G wireless network camera (with PTZ function) and DLINK-DCS-3200G wireless network camera, the transmission part receives the wireless camera signal through the wireless AP, and then the wireless AP transmits the received wireless signal to control center. The management office of the control center establishes a server for unified monitoring, management, and storage of videos.
(1) Camera part: The camera part is the frontier part of the monitoring system and the “eye” of the entire system. The camera converts the monitored content into digital audio and video signals and transmits it to the monitoring and storage equipment of the control center through the Internet. The camera part is the original signal source of the system. The quality of the camera part and the quality of the generated image affect the quality of the entire surveillance system. Therefore, the monitoring system uses the network camera DCS-6620G with MPEG4/MJPEG dual compression engine and the DCS-3220 network camera with MPEG4 compression; the DCS-6620G camera has a wireless transmission rate of 54M, high definition, good sensitivity, and 10 times optical amplification. , 10 times electronic zoom, with PTZ control, two-way voice and other features, can monitor the overall situation of each branch. The DCS-3320G wireless network camera adopts MPEG4 compression and D1 image quality, which can be used for fixed-point monitoring of important locations in the smelter area.
(2) Transmission part: The transmission part of the video surveillance system is mainly composed of the transmission of image signals, the transmission of sound signals, and the transmission of control signals for controlling cameras, lenses, pan-tilts, etc. Taking into account the specific conditions of the smelter, we will use DLINK wireless network cameras from Dlink Networks Co., Ltd. to transmit images, sounds, and control signals. The main advantage is that the image will not produce noise or distortion after transmission, and the original image can be guaranteed. The clarity and gray level of the signal are mainly transmitted by wireless and the existing network of the smelter, which not only saves the cost to the greatest extent but also avoids the cumbersome repetitive laying of cables.
(3) Central control part: Central control host configuration requirements: CPU: Inter dual-core processor memory: 1G graphics card: 128M operating system: windowsXP/windows2000
Control software: E eye management software
