I. Introduction

Oil depots generally supply gasoline and diesel to the outside world in the form of rail transportation. Because the oil depot has been built for a long time and is limited by the technological development of railroad scales at the time, the equipment is backward and outdated, and the trains entering and leaving the oil depot are manually recorded and counted by vehicle information. This method of copying the number can easily cause missed copy of the number, wrong copy of the number, or damage to the interests of the enterprise. Therefore, our company (Shenzhen Guoyuyuan Innovation Technology Co., Ltd.) cooperated with the manufacturer to upgrade the original automatic loading system: a new automatic train number identification management system was added. It aims to improve the management level of railway vehicles, realize real-time statistics and automation, and reduce management costs.

2. Concept analysis

  The uniqueness, accuracy, and real-time nature of the train number information are directly related to the safety management, transportation resource management, production technology management and operation resource management of the vehicles. The automatic management level of railway freight car numbers must be improved as soon as possible.

The role of vehicle number. The car number is a set of codes used to describe the identity, characteristics and purpose of the vehicle. The number of the railway freight car in my country is composed of Chinese pinyin letters and Arabic numerals, and is scribbled on both sides of the car body. Generally, each side has the same size and size .

1. Identification mark. The vehicle number can reflect the nature, vehicle type, model, load series, sequence series, structural characteristics and sequence number of the vehicle, can fully indicate the identity of each vehicle, and is a basic identification to distinguish it from other vehicles.

2. The foundation of technical management. A large number of technical performance indicators, technical structure, maintenance management and configuration changes, operating status, fault category, and accident analysis and processing information are formed during the entire life process of a vehicle from manufacturing, use, overhaul to scrapping. The vehicle number is the carrier of this information. It is the only clue to query the relevant information of each car and the basis for technical management.

3. The basis of transportation organization and statistics. As a tool for loading and transporting goods, truck numbers are the basis for organizing loading, driving, unloading, and statistical analysis of various transportation indicators, as well as the basis for querying the flow of goods.

4. The basis of ownership management. In the legal sense, a vehicle is an item managed as real estate. When its ownership is acquired, eliminated, and transferred, asset management must be realized through the vehicle number management and registration system. Therefore, the management of this specific asset also has an administrative management color, and the ownership must be clear, and one property and one right must be achieved.

5. Objects collected by computer informatization. Because the car number is composed of Chinese pinyin letters and Arabic numerals, and the automation technology is mainly through the collection, processing, transmission and application of numbers, making the car number the object and source of vehicle information collection.

Third, the composition of the vehicle number recognition management system

  The system is mainly composed of three parts: vehicle/locomotive electronic tags, ground identification equipment, and tanker identification centralized management system.

1. Label

Vehicle number information and vehicle technical parameter information are stored in the internal memory of the vehicle tag. The tag is installed on the bottom center beam of the identified vehicle, and each vehicle is equipped with a tag. It is composed of microwave antenna, virtual power supply, reflection modulator, encoder, microprocessor and memory. Each electronic tag is equivalent to the “ID card” of each vehicle.

Locomotive label includes information: attribute code, train number, locomotive model, assigned road bureau, assigned section.

2. Ground recognition equipment

The ground identification equipment is composed of ground antenna, RF radio frequency module, reading computer and other parts. Accurately identify running trains and vehicles. After the tag information is read by the ground antenna, it is transmitted to the host computer through a communication cable or optical fiber, and processed by special software, the vehicle number data stored in the tag is displayed item by item.

3. Centralized management system for vehicle recognition

The station main engine room is equipped with a special computer, and the information transmitted from the industrial computer is processed, stored and forwarded through the centralized management system. Check each batch of vehicle numbers applied by the label programming station with the central vehicle number database, reassign new vehicle numbers to heavy vehicle numbers, and return the approved vehicle number information to the label programming station, that is, centrally and uniformly process, allocate and approve vehicle numbers Information is like the central nervous system of the human brain.

Among these components, the key is to smoothly identify the tags and transfer the data to the background.

4. System functions and features

  1) The system has excellent low-speed and static performance, adapting to vehicle speeds of 0-200 km/h.

2) The single-section processing and uploading of vehicle information has good real-time performance, and its characteristics are more prominent when used in conjunction with a static rail scale.

3) It is easy to install, can be installed in bends and turnout areas according to design needs, and is fully compatible with the automatic identification system of the national railway car number.

4) Automatic identification of steam, internal combustion and electric locomotives, and automatic identification of various types of locomotives and vehicles passing through.

Five, the working principle of the vehicle identification control system

  The electronic tag is installed on the bottom of each vehicle or locomotive, and the microwave transceiver antenna of the ground reading device is installed in the center of the track at the monitoring point. When the train arrives, the front magnet sensor is turned on to obtain the train arrival signal, which triggers the microwave component in the host of the ground reading device to start working, and the outdoor microwave antenna immediately emits the microwave signal, waiting for the train to pass. When the train vehicle passes above the microwave antenna, the electronic tag installed on the bottom of the vehicle (or locomotive) reflects part of the received microwaves back to the ground reading device. The reflected microwave signal carries the electronic data stored in the electronic tag, and passes through the ground. After reading the host computer’s modulation, demodulation and decoding process, it is restored to data information such as train number and vehicle number, and then transmitted to the system by the host computer. After the train passes, the RF radio frequency module is controlled to stop working.

When the train wheels pass the axle counting and judging magnet device installed near the microwave antenna, the pulse signals generated by the opening magnet and the closing magnet are processed by the magnet assembly in the main unit of the reading device to complete the axle counting of the train. Functions such as vehicle judgment and speed measurement.

Six, summary

  After the system runs, it can accurately provide basic information such as the vehicle number, model, and weight of the vehicle entering the factory. Production scheduling and station attendants can realize real-time supervision of vehicles, make accurate statistics and real-time adjustments to the flow of vehicles, and establish a computer automatic report collection system for railway wagon numbers, identifications, attributes and locations. The activation of the recognition system will provide accurate and real-time basic information for vehicle tracking management, and automatically record vehicle number recognition accuracy to 100%, providing a guarantee for accurate statistics on production operations. At the same time, it will also effectively improve the work efficiency of freight personnel and reduce the time that vehicles stay in the factory.
