[ad_1]
Ekahau recently announced that its Wi-Fi-based activeRFIDBadges and location tracking, location and communication software have been successfully applied in the apartment of an elderly care center called Skovhuset in Denmark to improve the safety of the elderly.
The Skovhuset apartment is occupied by 135 employees and more than 100 senior citizens. It is also responsible for providing day care services.
The occupants are wearing EkahauWristband label, You can view the location information of the personnel through the Ekahau visualization software.
The caregiver uses a Motorola mobile phone with Wi-Fi, and it is tracked by the Ekahau system, which can be used to trigger an emergency alarm.
The wristband tag also includes an emergency button, so the elderly can immediately ask the caregiver closest to them for help.
The Danish IT specialist Neuco IP is responsible for completing the installation of the Ekahau real-time location system (RTLS) and integrating it with the existing alarm system of the facility, so as to send SMS to Motorola mobile phones to remind caregivers through routing.
