Overview
The public security communication system of Chongqing Railway is dominated by high mountain base stations, including Guang’an Huaying Mountain, Beibei Jinyun Mountain, Chongqing Gele Mountain, etc. The surrounding geographical environment along the Xiangyu Railway is mostly high mountains and hills with many tunnels and poor communication conditions. Although the communication range of high mountain base stations is large, railways mostly run in high mountains and valleys, and there are many blind spots along the railway, which affect the daily work of railway public security. Railway public security is generally managed by sections. Local high mountain base stations have many communication blind spots in the jurisdiction. Because of their large communication range, other sections can also communicate across districts when geographical conditions are good, causing mutual influence between jurisdictions.
Taking the Dazhou jurisdiction area as an example through field electrical surveys, the Dazhou jurisdiction area consists of five stations in Dazhou, Heshiba, Hongjiazui, Qinjiaba and Dushi, and the length of the railway is about 60KM. The base station set up by Tieshan, which is eight kilometers away from Dazhou City, at an altitude of 950 meters, talks with the handheld walkie-talkie along the railway. The handheld walkie-talkie communicates well a few kilometers behind Heshiba Station, and the signal only covers this area. Twenty-five years or so, especially the uplink signal of the handheld walkie-talkie cannot start the radio differential transfer at all in many places. Therefore, the large-area communication method of setting up differential turntables on the high mountains has very low signal coverage along the railway and the voice quality is not ideal. The high mountain base station method cannot meet the needs of railway public security communications. In order to meet the requirements of railway public security line inspection communication as much as possible, our company specially proposes the following solutions.

Take the jurisdiction area as the unit, the base station construction is based on the cell system, and the relay station with wireless link is set up at the station of each jurisdiction area, and the relay station completes the coverage along the railway. Then through the high mountain link relay station will cover the base station interconnection. Connect the relay station where the police station is located through the private network of the public security and use the VOIP gateway to interconnect the police stations. VOIP interconnection can disconnect all police stations and work independently according to the requirements of railway public security management. The police stations can also be interconnected to facilitate the unified dispatch and command of the Public Security Department.
The coverage base station adopts a unified frequency to ensure the mobility of railway public security work. The problem is that there is co-channel interference between repeaters. The surrounding geographical environment along the Xiangyu Railway is mostly high mountains and hills with many tunnels, and relay stations are set up in the stations, and the height of base stations is low, which reduces the mutual influence of wireless signals and minimizes co-frequency interference. This is similar to the same frequency train dispatching system of the railway.
The high mountain link station adopts different link frequencies for each jurisdictional zone, so that each zone works independently and does not affect each other. The wireless link technology is mature and the price is moderate.
