The Donghai District Fishing Boat Safety Rescue Information System is being gradually promoted and applied in three provinces and one city recently.
It is reported that Jiangsu Province is carrying out pilot construction in Nantong and Lianyungang: One multi-functional duty room and 4 video surveillance points have been established in Rudong County, Nantong City, equipped with more than 450 positioning mobile phones; construction is underway in Qidong City, Nantong RFID fishing boat identification system, shortwave ultrashortwave dual-mode monitoring system, fishing port security monitoring system. Lianyungang City has invested 10.5 million yuan to complete the infrastructure project and software platform construction of the Lianyungang City Command Center and Ganyu County Command Center. It has also built 2 AIS, dual-mode, and RFID base stations, and installed 216 sets of AIS terminals. 735 sets of modular terminals, 100 sets of RFID terminals, and 5 sets of Beidou satellite terminals.
Currently, Shanghai has installed 20 sets of AIS terminals, 32 sets of Beidou satellite terminals, 68 sets of RFID terminals, and has built 2 AIS base stations.
Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province has installed 5,458 sets of AIS terminals for fishing boats, and all levels of fishery management departments in the city have installed system platforms; and 14 AIS base stations have been installed. The Ningbo system platform has been developed and put into trial operation in the emergency command departments at the city and county levels; 21 fishing boat identification card (RFID) readers have been installed, and 2,667 fishing boat RFID tags have been installed; 3 AIS base stations have been built, Installed 2567 sets of fishing boat AIS terminals; installed 204 sets of fishing boat satellite terminals; and built a radar station, which basically realized the active monitoring of the city’s key fishery waters. Taizhou City has completed the construction of a total of 6 command platforms at the city level, Luqiao, Jiaojiang, Linhai, Wenling, Sanmen, Yuhuan (including one platform for the city level and Luqiao); 3 AIS base stations have been established and installed 3930 sets of AIS terminals and 1995 sets of satellite terminals are installed. Wenzhou City has completed the installation of more than 300 sets of AIS terminals and more than 100 sets of satellite terminals.
Fujian Province has built 25 command centers at the provincial, city and county levels, and installed more than 22,000 fishing boat terminals. It is planned to complete the installation of all fishing boat terminals in 2009.
