The integrated RFID system will monitor the entry and exit of trailers throughout the entire process, which can help customers reduce the time, cost and uncertainty of trailer management.
The RFID reader installed at the door will read the passive RFID tags attached to the trailer. The mobile and fixed readers in the field can be used to verify the movement of the trailer and perform verification. This system also has an event warning function, and the system will issue an alarm when an abnormal situation occurs.
Five years ago, RedPrairie began to integrate RFID technology into its WMS system, and the company will expand the application of this technology in the future.
