Project Background:
China Railway Container Transportation Co., Ltd. is a large state-owned container transportation company established in 2004 after being approved by the Ministry of Railways, registered with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and integrated railway container transportation resources. It has the right to carry container railway transportation. At present, China Railway Company has 18 container central stations and 509 container handling stations across the country. In the future, it will integrate business, centrally manage container handling stations, merge small stations, and eventually retain 122 handling stations.
In view of the imperfect container management, the discarding and loss of railway containers is still very serious; China Railway Beijing Corporation has established a container management department to manage and track containers.
China Railway Transportation Company currently has a relatively good vehicle management. Regarding the supervision of trucks entering and exiting the checkpoint, the “equipment handover form”, “import receipt” and “electronic camera” are three-pronged, and the three certificates are complete and correct, and manual release is done. The error rate is very low.
At present, most of Luchao Port’s cargo transportation business scope is inland areas, and 90% of the containers used are customers’ own containers. It is better for customers to self-manage their own containers. The railway’s own container management is still rather chaotic. The Shanghai container management is also under the unified responsibility of the China Railway Container Management Department.
At present, the documents are manually entered by personnel, the error rate is relatively high, and if the documents are lost, the container will not find the owner of the container, and there is no way to find it; therefore, it is considered to start with the documents and implement the electronic information and use electronic tags. Follow the container body for real-time tracking to avoid the above problems.
