At the beginning of 2014, after benchmarking study, on-site investigation and technical demonstration, based on the concept of “Internet of Things”, the measurement and control center proposed a new management idea, and decided to build a modern measurement equipment management system for the company from a high starting point and a high level. The project was included in the company-level benchmarking management project.

In September 2014, the project was officially launched. With the cooperation of the General Management Department, the preliminary process design, programming, software and hardware testing began. After more than 200 days of hard work, repeated revisions and continuous improvement, the system was finally successfully developed. .

After the project is put into operation, the company’s measurement equipment can be managed in a refined manner. The specific features are as follows:

Accuracy: After the measurement equipment is purchased into the factory, it will be locked for a lifetime of the radio frequency card with a unique identification code after the storage verification. Through the wireless communication technology, the effective link between the radio frequency card and the ERP information platform can be realized, and the transmission and access can be realized. And modify the information data of the measuring equipment, so as to realize the accurate management and control of the whole process of the measuring equipment from the acceptance of the factory, inventory management, issuance and use, secondary warehouse management, equipment installation, periodic verification, maintenance and repair, sealing and unsealing, and downgrading and scrapping.

Accurate: through hierarchical authorization, professionals at all levels can access and inquire relevant information, in the evaluation of supply quality, service life and cost performance of measuring equipment, purchase price and verification cost statistics, transparent inventory management, plan declaration and approval, online It provides accurate and objective management data for production, application and decision-making in terms of maintenance and inspection, measuring equipment operation status, etc.

Fine: This project establishes an electronic file with a unique identity for each measuring device. Using a PDA wireless handheld terminal, one-click access includes the name of the measuring device, model specifications, factory serial number, manufacturer, date of use, date of verification, 43 items such as scrap date, use location, management category, use status, verification department, measurement requirements, supplier, verification fee, unit price, etc., realize the refined management of measuring equipment information.

After the system is fully put into operation, it can not only improve the standardized management level of measuring equipment, but also is expected to save the company 5% of the purchase cost of measuring equipment every year, thus contributing to the company’s cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
