InvoTech Systems, Inc. announced the implementation of InvoTech’s Ultra High Frequency (UHF) at Rocksino Northfield Park, an entertainment venue affiliated with the Hard Rock Hotel in Northeast OhioRFIDSystem, Hard Rock wants to automate the control and management of the hotel’s more than 6,000 staff uniforms.
Rocksino Northfield Park is a 200,000-square-foot gaming and entertainment venue that opened in December 2013 and features video lottery terminals (VLTs), entertainment, 4 dining options, and horse racing.
The RFID tracking system utilizes Fujitsu North America’s rubber-encapsulated EPC Gen 2 RFID tags attached to service personnel’s uniform property. Each tag has an ID number linked to a specific type of data associated with the item, as well as cleaning records.
The solution also includes the Impinj R420Reader, Times-7 UHF-RFID and Laird Technologies reader antennas.
InvoTech integrates an RFID reader and “U-Pick-I” automatic pickup delivery system software for automatic and even distribution to each Rocksino team member.
According to InvoTech, if a garment is being washed or in use, the two systems can communicate and record the unified location of each garment to manage inventory in real time.
A unified tracking system, which also records all unified usage and laundry cycles, predicts replacement requirements for accurate budgeting.
Rocksino Northfield Park in Hard Rock is a gaming, entertainment, dining destination with a staff of more than 750 people. According to InvoTech, the unified management system eliminates the cost of missing assets and reduces staff and laundry errors.
