Another world-class cloud data center in Taiwan will be completed next year. Chunghwa Telecom Banqiao IDC data center covers an area of more than 6,000 square meters. After completion, it will be the largest cloud data center in Taiwan. Recently, Chunghwa Telecom disclosed the internal design details of the computer room for the first time.
The data center used the TIA 942-A standard specification to design the equipment room facilities. This is the latest telecommunications infrastructure standard set by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) in 2012. It mainly covers four aspects of telecommunications, construction, electricity and machinery, with a total of more than 2,000 standard specifications. According to the degree of strictness of the requirements, it is divided into four grades from Rated 1 to Rated 4 (that is, the commonly referred to as Tier 1 to Tier 4 grade specifications).
In terms of personnel control, the data center also adopts 5-level security protection and ISO 27001 information security management certification. Fences, metal detectors and other layers of control and control, and active RFID pass and face recognition mechanisms are also used in all IDC computer rooms.
In addition, for the security control of visitors entering and exiting the office building or computer room building, a set of visitor intelligent management system is also adopted here. Visitors entering and leaving the first floor need to use a tablet to sign the visitor consent form, and then use the ID camera to create a dual-use RFID and mifare system. The visitor card of the module card is used as a pass identification, and then you can enter and exit the computer room or office building. And all the visitor’s pass records will be sent back to the network management system in real time.
In addition to combining RFID passes and face recognition for data comparison, even in the data center, a real-time tracking mechanism for 3D human flow information is added. Through the 3D depth camera, combined with the virtual counting line on the ground, the 3D image of the entrance and exit of each computer room can be obtained. Real-time flow of people information, real-time tracking and reporting, managers can use this to track and control all personnel entering and leaving the computer room.
For the security control of visitors entering and exiting the office building or the computer room building, a set of visitor intelligent management system is also adopted.
