After Applied Materials purchases assets, it installs UHF passive RFID tags on the assets that need to be tracked, or attaches the tags to the toolbox, and the unique identification code represented by the tags will be recorded in the background system. We can exemplify that some metal assets such as aluminum, copper and gold are deposited through special technologies, and it is difficult to manage them in an automated way without RFID.
