Dubbed the “UBWALL”, the giant plasma screen device combines Wi-Fi and RFID technology, and its main function is to attract customers and provide them with relevant information. The UBWALL screen is 50 inches in size, and the screen can display classified information that attracts customers. When the sensor senses the proximity of the customer, UBWALL starts to switch the menu, providing various options, and the user can touch the sensor screen to select the menu. When searching for the information they want, customers can download the information or manual wirelessly to their mobile phone. The content displayed by UBWALL is regularly updated by a content management system via Wi-Fi.

Although the device has been in development for some time, this is the first time it has left the Fujitsu lab and has been used in a real-world setting. Nomura, a Japanese financial institution, will install it at its branches to provide stock market information and services.
