3 Project software part

Software system design architecture

RFID system software will be divided into log/query interface module (Web method), handheld client and card issuing client module (Client client-Server server method), RFID system database, and asset management-RFID system interface layer. The necessary data will be passed through the interface layer to the upper-level asset management system, that is, the read RFID information or barcode information, or the inventory RFID information.
The RFID system software includes the following functional modules

1) RF scanning operation
Scan the RFID information (including asset number and location information) through the RF terminal and send the information back to the asset management system, and get the detailed information of the asset through the interface.

2) RF scan verification
After obtaining the detailed information of the asset from the asset management system, it can be compared with that stored in the existing RFID. If there is a difference, the difference can be recorded in the RFID system log.

3) RF real-time inventory operation
First, you can download the inventory plan of the asset management system through the interface or import the inventory plan by importing Excel. The RF device can select the inventory plan and perform the inventory by scanning the RFID. After scanning the inventory, the system can immediately find out the situation of the confirmed missing assets, and can compare the ID, location, product code and other key information during the inventory, and record the difference in the system log.

4) RFID card issuing function
Provide an interface on the PC to allow the user to input/select the asset number or other information and write this information into the RFID tag.

5) User operation/Log query

6) Middle software interface
Sync asset detailed information, inventory and other interface data with the asset management system
