Denmark adopts RFID system to ensure bicycle road safety
[ad_1]
With the continuous increase in the number of road cars, cycling on the road may face the danger of being knocked down by fast-moving vehicles at any time. Now, the Danish government is aware of this problem and is beginning to adopt RFID technology to ensure road safety for cyclists.
This RFID system is called “See Mi”. In the test, about 300 bicycles will have battery-powered RFID tags installed on the handlebars, and receivers will be installed on the 7 most accident-prone cross roads. When a bicycle enters this area, the system will send a signal to a traffic light, and the traffic light will send a signal to the driver, reminding the driver of the bicycle that is approaching, and urging them to slow down to avoid trouble.
