The Shanghai Rail Transit Pearl Line, which was officially opened for trial operation on the morning of December 27, 2000, is the first elevated rail line in my country’s urban traffic that has been built so far. Its signal control system (transition) uses RFID wireless automatic identification products of TAGMASTER AB.
The signal control system was developed by the ATC Research Laboratory of Tongji University. Tagmaster wireless identification equipment performs the following tasks:
1. Automatically identify and record the entry and exit time of each train of vehicles;
2. Report the train operation status to the central console;
3. Other tasks that need to be performed.
Before deciding whether to adopt the TagMaster wireless identification device, ATC Research Institute conducted an eight-month test on the performance of the device against its technical parameters, and repeatedly tested the user-made program.
