Versus RTLS system helps a Washington clinic reduce patient waiting time

A newly opened clinic in Washington used Versus Technology’s real-time location system (RTLS) to improve its workflow in order to reduce patient waiting time.
Versus’ Advantages Clinic RTLS solution uses infrared (IR) signals. When the infrared signals are blocked or cannot work normally, RFID is used as a backup solution.
The infrared signal of the tag is emitted every three seconds, fixed infraredReaderResponsible for receiving information, the tag sends its own ID to the Versus background software.

After adopting the RTLS system, clinics can more easily find the location status of patients, medical staff and medical equipment based on badges and tracking software; if the patient waits for more than 10 minutes, the system will remind you.
The real-time positioning system can also display the corresponding status of doctors and patients in diagnosis on the electronic whiteboard.
It can also automatically display whether the room is ready, as well as reports on key performance indicators, such as care arrival, response arrival, comprehensive diagnosis time and more other information.
