Background of the project:
This case is applied to the first, second, and third floors of a building to achieve high-precision indoor positioning, and to achieve high-precision outdoor positioning in an area outside the building. The positioning system is realized by Ubisense’s customized high-power, high-precision, high-refresh UWB products for military applications. The positioning units are arranged according to the actual conditions of indoor rooms, corridors and stairs, and they are connected into a seamless whole. The positioning network ensures that each location can achieve high-precision three-dimensional positioning, and each room, each positioning unit, indoor and outdoor can achieve high-precision seamless positioning.
User background:
The end user is a large-scale training base in a military region, and the application environment is an urban anti-terrorism combat training base.
Specific solutions:
The positioning system consists of three parts: a positioning tag (Tag) worn by a person, which can transmit UWB signals to determine the position; a fixed-position sensor (Sensor), which can receive and calculate the signal sent from the tag; and a software that integrates all position information Platform to obtain, analyze and transmit information to users and other related information systems.
In the system, the positioning tag emits a very short UWB pulse signal, and the sensor receives this signal and uses a comprehensive measurement method to calculate the location of the tag. The positioning engine software integrates the data and transmits it to an external program or positioning platform through an API interface to realize spatial information processing and information visualization.
The positioning area of this system is the three floors of a building, including stairs, corridors and various rooms, with a total coverage area of about 1000 square meters; limited by multiple wall barriers and UWB signal penetration capabilities in the building, in order to achieve 50cm positioning Accuracy, the entire area is divided into 10 units and seamlessly connected as a whole.
