Automatic tracking management of personnel entry and exit

With the development of recognition technology, people have proposed a brand new topic, that is, how to automatically track multiple people entering and exiting fast driving, and realize it at a lower cost.

1. Project requirements

Nanjing Institute of International Political Relations, in order to strengthen the management of its students, requires the use of contactless proximity cards to track and record the entry and exit of each student in each campus of the school, when to leave the dormitory, when to return to the dormitory; when to leave School gate.

2. On-site situation

Nanjing Institute of International Political Relations has two gates, a front gate with a passage width of 10 meters, and a side gate with a passage width of 5 meters; the school has nearly 8,000 students. Both gates have communication rooms.

The company has installed a local area network and has a network cable socket in the communication room at each gate.

3. The working principle of the system

The management center issues a card to each employee. When the employee passes near the card reader (reading distance of 3 meters), the card reader can sense the card and transmit the information (card number) in the card to the local controller. The controller transmits the received card number to the management software, and the software judges the legality of the card number. If the card number is legal, the green light connected to the controller is on and the cardholder can enter; otherwise, the red light is on and the security guards prevent it from entering, and the manager can monitor and manage the entry and exit of each door in real time. In addition, the induction card is not easy to copy, safe and reliable, and has a long life (non-contact card reading method reduces the mechanical wear of the card to zero).

Four, system equipment function description

In response to the leadership requirements of the Nanjing Institute of International Political Relations, combined with the on-site conditions, Ximark has formulated the following solutions for customers.

1.Proximity card

Using British Census low-frequency and long-distance proximity card, model TC6A. The characteristics of this product are as follows:

(1) Reading distance: using CR1A reader and an external 2m x 2m antenna, the reading distance can be up to 2 meters without external interference
(2) Multiple readout: 55 proximity cards can be recognized simultaneously on the CR1A card reader
(3) Card reading speed: up to 60km/h on CR1A card reader

Service life of proximity card

The service life of TC6A proximity card is 5-7 years (depending on the frequency of card reading). Census induction products have a low battery alarm function, that is, when the battery voltage is low, the buzzer on the card reader will emit a “beep beep…” a total of five beeps, and the proximity card can be read 500 times at this time . According to needs, users can also customize the output format of the card reader to include the battery voltage status in the output format of the card reader.

2.Card reader

Using the British Census long-distance card reader, model CR1A-DS. Its working principle is: the reader has an antenna coil that can transmit and receive proximity card signals. Through this antenna, the card reader continuously emits electromagnetic interrogation signals to the surroundings. When the proximity card enters the reading range of the card reader, the proximity card that was originally in the “sleeping state” state is activated, and the proximity card also feeds back the response signal carrying the proximity card number to the reader through a small antenna coil inside it. Card device. Through continuous inquiries and responses between the card reader and the proximity card, the card reader can read all the proximity card numbers and output them to the computer or other controllers in a certain format. The inquiry between the Census card reader and the proximity card is encrypted. The number of the proximity card is fed back to the reader in a “garbled” format. This kind of “garbled” can only be recognized by the Census series card readers. The proximity card number is absolutely safe during transmission.

CR1A-DS card reader is different from general RFID products, it has the following main features:

1) Quick recognition. The card reader can accurately identify high-speed motion induction cards, and the motion speed can reach 60Km/hour.
2) Multiple readout. The card reader can identify up to 55 proximity cards present in the reader’s reading range at the same time, without any omission.
3) Long-distance reading. The card reader can identify the proximity card 3 meters away from it.
4) Unique HID code restriction function to ensure the security of the system.
5) Two antennas can be connected externally, with two separate outputs, each antenna can correspond to one output.
6) With the function of direction recognition, the card reader can know whether the person is in or out after passing through the induction antenna.

CR1A-DS card reader working principle

Two antennas (4m*1.5m) are buried in the place where the 5-meter-wide channel passes, which we call A antenna and B antenna.

Take the “tracking” mode as an example to describe the working principle of CR1A-DS. It should be noted here that the working mode and output mode of the CR1A-DS card reader will be quite different for different working modes.

1) When the person carrying the proximity card approaches Antenna A, Antenna A reads the proximity card but there will be no output.

2) When the proximity card goes from Antenna A to Antenna B, it means that the person is walking in the direction of Entrance. In this process, the proximity card is read by Antenna A and Antenna B before and after the proximity card is read by Antenna B. At the moment of reading, the card reader immediately has a sensor card signal output on channel A, which represents “incoming signal” (the CR1A-DS card reader has two separate Wiegand signal outputs, called A channel output And B channel output, which can respectively represent an “in” signal output and an “out” signal output)

3) If the proximity card returns from the antenna B to the antenna A immediately, it means that the person is walking in the exit direction again, which is represented by the figure: A>>>> B>>>> A, then when the induction When the card returns to the A antenna, the card reader immediately has a signal output of the proximity card on the B channel, which means “signal out”, which means that the person has come out.

Installation of tuning capacitor:

Pay attention to the following when installing tuning capacitors:

(1) Only use special tuning capacitors provided by Ximark
