Using radio to realize wireless meter reading in the whole area: through the existing radio communication system of the terminal, the data of the counter on the gantry crane is sent to the base station of the control center. The base station runs the software through the PC connected to the radio station, and automatically stores the data of each gantry crane as a document. The meter can also be read through wireless channels such as WIFI and GPRS.
Using PDA for short-distance wireless meter reading In order to make up for the problem that individual equipment cannot be read when the power is out of the radio meter reading, the PDA wireless meter reading function is added. Through special software, the PDA can read the device number that has not been read, perform automatic on-site meter reading, and then transfer the data to the server to complete the meter reading of all gantry cranes.
