In the past, limited by the quality of images, surveillance video was often unable to play a real role in the investigation and collection of evidence for public security criminal investigations. Compared with traditional D1 and CIF formats, HD can provide significantly improved video clarity and video fluency. Taking the current highest level 1080P as an example, its resolution is 1920×1080, and the image clarity is 20 times that of CIF video. It is 5 times that of D1 video, and the frame rate of 1080P can reach 60 frames/second or 60 fields/second, and its fluency is more than 2 times that of D1 and CIF. Using high-definition monitoring can achieve more accurate and efficient video applications. Bengbu Public Security has gradually deployed high-definition surveillance in some key areas to achieve better supervision effects.

  Network management, realize resource sharing, liberate police force

The purpose of the construction of the urban public security monitoring system is to let the public security department know the real-time situation of various sensitive areas in the city through images. The system can realize real-time browsing of images and all-weather video recording, and can conveniently call and manage these image resources. Networking is undoubtedly the most convenient way to achieve resource sharing among departments at all levels and the calling and management of image resources.

Bengbu Safe City Video Surveillance System is constructed with a fully networked architecture, which can realize networked transmission of image resources, multi-level networking and hierarchical and domain-based management.

Networked cascading architecture – the system is deployed in a two-level cascading architecture, and a first-level monitoring platform is deployed in the municipal bureau, responsible for the central management, business management, authority authentication and other functions of the entire system, and a second-level monitoring platform is set up in 7 convergence computer rooms , responsible for the aggregation, forwarding, distribution and signaling management of video images in each jurisdiction, complete the management and control functions in this platform, and upload important image data to the first-level platform of the Municipal Public Security Bureau through the network. Public security at all levels can use and manage urban surveillance images by accessing the corresponding surveillance platforms.

Video – One of the biggest features of urban security monitoring is the large amount of information, and the reliable storage of such a huge amount of information is a big problem. The Bengbu city security monitoring system adopts advanced IP SAN storage technology, a storage solution combining distributed storage and centralized storage. The high-level platform is responsible for the storage of monitoring images and alarm videos in key parts of the city. Distributed storage reduces the pressure of central storage and the occupation of central network bandwidth. The combination of centralized storage and distributed storage can back up each other, ensuring reliable storage of key data. The stored video can be queried, downloaded and played back through the network.

Hierarchical and sub-domain management – The system adopts the management structure of “three-level monitoring center, hierarchical and sub-domain management”, and deploys three-level monitoring centers of municipal bureaus, sub-bureaus, and police stations to manage and dispatch urban monitoring resources in a unified manner.
