Problems currently encountered by the detention center
There are 6 prison areas in a city detention center in Jiangsu Province. There are two floors, and the first floor is the monitoring area. There are 13 prison cells in each prison area. Each prison room is divided into two parts: the number room and the ventilation area. The vent area door is normally closed. The police patrol aisle area on the 2nd floor is divided into the patrol aisle above the ventilation area and the patrol aisle above the numbered room. The detention center has been transformed through video, and cameras have been installed in the numbered rooms, ventilation areas, and corridors. But the detention center still encounters some problems:
• Video surveillance requires police officers to watch continuously for a long time, which is prone to omissions and errors
• When detainees are brought out for arraignment, there is no way to monitor whether they are accompanied by police officers
• When emergencies occur, police officers are unable to report to the police in time to determine the location and specific personnel of the incident
• Police officers are required to conduct roll calls every day, and the location of detainees cannot be known at all times

According to the characteristics of the above-mentioned detention centers, in order to solve the current problems faced by the detention centers, we designed a solution that combines the video system, the access control system and the wireless positioning identification system to link the isolated systems. The system is based on the international standard Wi-Fi network, adopts the most advanced encryption method in the world, and physically separates the internal and external networks to ensure the security and reliability of the wireless method. Detainee management:
1. Establish data statistics of detainees, realize statistics of prison buildings, make real-time regional roll calls, and view prison personnel, so that police officers can grasp the status and location of current detainees anytime, anywhere.
2. Police officers view the detainees’ movement trajectory playback and video recordings, track the detainees’ performance in a specific time period, and provide reference for behavior analysis.
