The Eli Grinvald family is very particular about breakfast. The customer then receives a mailed receipt for the transaction. Grinvald pointed out that the system does not use the user’s E-ZPass account. Instead, it associates payment card charge tags through the iDriveThru mobile app.

IDriveThru recommends franchisees to provide users with cashback points to enhance the core competitiveness of the store. For example, when users spend $1 with IDriveThru, they get 10 points. When the points accumulate to 500 points, customers can redeem the $5 cash back. At the same time, customers can also view their points status through the store screen or mobile app. Currently, the company is also exploring iDriveThru’s proprietary discount card solution, so merchants don’t have to worry.

The E-ZPass battery-operated 915MHz RFID tags are manufactured by Kapsch TrafficCom and are currently issued in 14 states. New York State, one of the earliest states to deploy, has already shown many benefits, including reduced idle time and discounts for customers.

To date, more than 1,500 customers have signed up for iDriveThru through the company’s website. Grinvald pointed out that Staten Island is a dense area for E-ZPass users because the area is full of toll highways.

Grinvald found that many customers on Staten Island prefer to pay in cash. To meet these customer needs, he plans to focus on improving products to create a positive consumer experience for customers. In the future, the company will also open a mobile ordering function.
