CreativeLift Lifting Magnet by IMI
Industrial Magnetics Inc. (IMI), a provider of lifting magnets and magnetic separators for metal products, has launched its CreativeLift Lifting Magnet, joiningRFIDFeatures.
This CreativeLift magnet for handling steel plates, castings, forgings, etc. eliminates the need for clamping devices, slings or chains. The purpose of adding RFID technology is to make it easier and more accurate to identify, track equipment, and perform maintenance operations.
InfoChip Systems provides RFID technology support, including NFC passive high frequency (HF) 13.56 MHz RFID tags andhandheld reader. Labels are attached to the CreativeLift magnets, and maintenance and quality supervisors can record the location of the lifting magnets, inspection history, safety and repair records, all using a handheld.
IMI’s magnetic separators are also equipped with RFID, so that some factories, such as bulk food factories, can ensure that there are no metallic substances in the products. (Compiled by RFID World Network)
