Outline of SATO’s Experiment on Providing Multilingual Information Services for Visitors to Japan
Based on the information of foreigners visiting Japan (nationality, gender, and products they want to buy), products are recommended in multiple languages and guided to the information service system of the relevant stores. Just read the NFC wristband close to the terminal, and you can get the above-mentioned multilingual shopping guide service.

background and purpose
For various situations such as identity verification of foreigners visiting Japan, accommodation registration, purchase of tax-free goods, and rental of communication equipment, one by one operation is required, plus cumbersome applications, long waiting times for identity verification, etc., resulting in The burden on merchants (shops, etc.) increases.
In order to solve these problems, SATO uses common ID information to set up systems at various touch points such as accommodation, mobile, dining, sightseeing, shopping, etc., aiming to provide the most convenient information services for foreign tourists and merchants. In addition, the registration data can be used to grasp the trends and preferences of foreign tourists visiting Japan.

NFC wristband application summary
Wristbands with built-in NFC will be distributed at the special corner for Chinese New Year at Ginza Mitsukoshi 9F. The customer puts the wristband on the wrist and puts the wristband close to the configured terminal, the recommended product information will be displayed in multiple languages (Chinese, Japanese, English), and the location map of the product display will be displayed at the same time. The displayed map has a QR code, and guests can also read more detailed information on the item on their smartphone.
