Overview:

In this paper, a smart meter project plan is made according to the needs of a customer of ICP DAS. The introduction of parameters of smart meters PM-2133-CAN and VB-115, the use of monitoring software, system architecture, and wiring construction are all elaborated.

With the advent of the Internet of Things era, remote meter reading technology has gradually become an important part of it and is flourishing. At present, ICP DAS has provided many enterprises with smart meter remote management and energy-saving management services, and ICP DAS has accumulated rich experience in this regard. It is believed that in the future services, ICP DAS will be able to provide more mature and high-quality services, saving more electricity and human resources for enterprises.

1. Project requirements:

Real-time monitoring of the voltage, current, total power of each channel, and calculation of the total electricity cost of each plant. Provides an alarm prompt for insufficient power balance and an automatic power-off function when the power usage exceeds a predetermined value.

The detailed requirements are as follows:

1. The CT ratio of the smart meter is adjustable.

2. Smart meter with LCD display (optional).

3. It can provide peak, valley and average value.

4. The monitoring software PMMS can provide the function of meter disconnection detection.

5. The monitoring software PMMS provides the function of warning and prompting the insufficient balance of the predetermined power.

6. The monitoring software can monitor and display the voltage, current and power of each plant in real time. According to the peak, valley and average value, the electricity fee and the total electricity fee of each period are calculated.

7. The CT value is adjustable in the software PMMS, the monthly basic rate is adjustable, and the peak, valley, and flat rates are adjustable for each time period and each time period. Provides the function of setting the recharge amount.

8. Database data storage function. Generate a report on the daily electricity consumption of each plant, generate a daily graph report on the daily voltage and current value of each plant, and generate a report on the historical record of the recharge amount of each plant.

There are 12 power distribution cabinets on site, which are connected to 12 workshops respectively. Each power distribution cabinet is divided into two outputs of power and lighting, with a total of 24 outputs. The output voltage of each channel is 380V and the current is about 400A. The power consumption of each channel needs to be monitored in real time through a smart meter.
