Intersport Jan Bols is a sportswear and equipment retailer in the Netherlands. After using RFID technology to track 10,000 items from the warehouse to the sales terminal, the sales performance has been greatly improved and inventory management costs have been reduced. Intersport has branches in 42 countries around the world, with a total of more than 5,400. For them, inventory management is a very complex task, and the maximum benefit can be achieved by ensuring the supply of inventory. Intersport chose Cross Point and RFKeeper as its solution providers. Intersport has installed electronic goods anti-theft (EAS) doors at the entrance of retail stores, hoping to find a solution that can integrate anti-theft and RFID tracking on this basis.

After the customer selects the goods, the RFID POS reader at the cash register reads the tag data and forwards it to the background management software to update the inventory data. At the same time, remove the EAS tag to ensure that customers pass the EAS security door smoothly.

With the implementation of the system, the speed and accuracy of inventory counting have been effectively improved.
