Invictus Brewing Group Announces VinSecure Identification System to Ensure the Safety of Famous Wines

Jack Ellis, one of the founders of Invictus Brewing Group, said: “The VinSecure system uses RFID technology to effectively curb the manufacturing and sales of fake and inferior wine. Although many methods have been tried to deal with the problem of counterfeit wine, none of the Success is different now.”
He further said: “The more precise name of this system should be called the counterfeit wine containment system. It provides an effective containment measure through RFID technology to curb the manufacturing (or theft) and marketing of fake wine bottles. This system is also our defense. One of the key measures of the famous wine brand strategy.”
The password data is entered into the RFID tag on the bottle. The data is stored in the memory inside the tag, and is confirmed and locked. This data cannot be interpreted, that is, it cannot be changed.
The factory history of labeled wine bottles can be verified and confirmed in real time through data reading. Since each famous wine bottle has a unique password and registration number, which can be confirmed in real time, the manufacture and sale of counterfeit wine bottles will be immediately stopped. The counterfeit bottles in marketing will be spotted immediately.
An important part of the VinSecure solution is that every famous wine bottle has its own unique identification code. The creation of this unique identification code should be mainly attributed to the RFID device itself. This unique identification code has been generated during the wine bottle label production process and is permanently attached to the wine bottle label.
The unique identification code number of the label is surprisingly large, 72 x 10 24. It is 20 million times the annual production (bottle wine) of the American wine industry and 3.6 million times the annual production of the six major wine-making countries in the world.
Ellis said: “We are very confident to provide a unique identification code for each bottle. Although this is only part of the solution, it is indeed a very important part.”
Targets tracked by VinSecure solution:
Inventory management
Original manufacturer (change of manufacturer)
Wine cellar environmental records
The above data can be stored and locked if necessary. Some data such as sales price, sales date, and recommended market price can be updated (rewritten) if necessary. For example, if the wine bottle is transferred to another winery, the label data can be updated according to the new manufacturer’s requirements.
The act of replacing the owner of the wine bottle also includes the transfer of security measures. Every system user will get a registration number, just like a credit card user will receive a credit card number. The registration number is valid for life, and the VinSecure system can provide more than 1,000 registration numbers.
Every time the bottle owner changes the manufacturer, the system will generate a confirmation code. The confirmation code contains the new owner’s password of the bottle and the transfer date and time. This information is stored in the label of the wine bottle and locked. The serial number recorded in the database is generated at the same time to accurately track the transfer.
Mr. Ellis said: “The design of the VinSecure system requires that unless the label is damaged, it is impossible to remove the label from the bottle. The system has a protection record of the original identification code. The original identification code includes the production record of the famous wine, the production of the wine bottle and Owner information. Together, the above system features can ensure that the password duplication or illegal password of the famous wine bottle will be detected immediately.”
