1. Project background

Yueyang International Plaza has a total investment of 330 million U.S. dollars and is located in the CBD business circle of Jing’an Temple in Shanghai, with a total construction scale of 200,000 square meters. Its format includes a 43-storey Grade A office building, a 5-storey main shopping mall, and a 24-storey super five-star boutique hotel. The Yueyang International Plaza integrates today’s world-class high-tech systems and facilities, and is equipped with oversized The capacity of communication equipment, and a more comprehensive IC card security monitoring system, effectively guarantee the safety inside and outside the building. Target customers are positioned at top customer groups such as Fortune 500 companies and their top executives, and become an unrepeatable landmark building in the Jing’an business district. In the next ten years, Yueyang Plaza will become the leading office building in Shanghai’s market.

Yueyang International Plaza is positioned as a high-end, and it needs its supporting “Cube One Card System” to provide a matching application design. Using cards as identity certificates, functional applications run through all properties including office buildings, shopping malls and boutique hotels. The total investment of the one-card system is more than 5 million. It has completed the management of 800 access control, information detection and guidance of more than 400 parking spaces, the management of nearly 200 VOIP terminals, and the elevator control management of nearly 20 elevators. The applied subsystems include: channel visitor management subsystem, access control management subsystem, elevator management subsystem, parking management subsystem, attendance management subsystem and consumption management subsystem, and are linked with the social early warning system.

 
2. Introduction to the main subsystems of the all-in-one card system

2.1 Channel visitor subsystem

Visitors need to be authenticated by the interviewed tenant through VOIP and control the terminal to issue cards to improve the recognition rate, improve the security management level, and clarify the responsibilities between the tenant and the property management.

The office building in the Yueyang International Plaza project conducts comprehensive management of public passages, places fast-track gates, and requires strict credit card authentication when entering and exiting.

For visitors who do not have a card and do not know the telephone number of the visited tenant, they can find the telephone number of the visited tenant through the self-service card issuing terminal. After the tenant confirms the identity of the visitor and the number of visitors, it is authorized, and the number of cards issued is confirmed after the system confirms that it is correct. After the self-service card issuance terminal obtains the card issuance authorization number, the system takes in the image of the visitor, and writes the permission of the floor that can go to the card, and finally executes the card issuing action.

After the visitor takes the card correctly, swipe the card on the access gate, and the access controller verifies the validity, legitimacy, and card type of the card: a valid card, the gate opens automatically; the computer of the guard terminal automatically retrieves the information when the visitor fetches the card Images, card issuance time, entry time, interviewees and other information are stored in the system database. Visitors enter the elevator, swipe the card with the card reader in the elevator car, and the elevator control system will open the corresponding floor permissions after identification.

When visitors go out, they need to insert the card into the fast-track card recovery device. The control system verifies the validity of the card, and retrieves the card issuance information and visit information of the entire process for the guards to view.

2.2 Elevator management subsystem

The elevator control system of Yueyang International Plaza can set multiple control release periods of the elevator according to conditions such as daily, weekly, and holidays. During the released period, the system does not control the elevator, and it runs automatically.

For the staff in the building, the reachable floors can be set according to actual needs. Single-layer users can swipe their cards directly, and multi-layer users can choose the floor buttons they want to reach after swiping their cards. For property cleaners, part-time workers, etc., who use the elevator card authority settings on a regular basis, the reachable floor is the floor required for work, and it is set that the corresponding floor can only be reached within the specified time. For the security personnel’s card authority, set it to be able to reach any floor in the jurisdiction, in case of emergency. For temporary visitors, the card authority will write the usage time, number of times, and reachable floor information into the card when the card is issued in the visitor system. When the card is recycled, the relevant authority information in the visitor card will be automatically cancelled.

  
2.3 Access Control Management Subsystem

The access control management of Yueyang International Plaza is mainly to deploy defenses for the main entrances and exits of the building, fire channels, important computer rooms, and property offices. In order to improve the security level, the structure of the card reader and the controller is separated, and strict and serious methods such as swiping cards and passwords and swiping multiple cards are supported. In terms of card readers, there are targeted designs for anti-prying and anti-opening. When the card reader and controller are violently pried off the mounting surface, an alarm will be generated and output to the management center. The access control system realizes the linkage function with the fire alarm system. Once a fire alarm occurs, the fire door opens unconditionally after the glass breaker is broken.

2.4 Parking management subsystem

The parking management system of Yueyang International Plaza provides fixed reserved parking spaces for long-term users, and a parking lock is installed for each reserved parking space to ensure that the parking space is not occupied by other vehicles. For temporary vehicles, in order to facilitate the driver to quickly and accurately find a suitable parking space, humanized parking guidance will be provided to it through the following methods:

1. When the driver obtains the card, the parking space information allocated by the system will be displayed on the entrance information ticket box, accompanied by voice prompts in both Chinese and English;

2. The parking lot is divided into three areas, and a guide screen is set at the entrance of each area to release guide information;

3. Install the parking space status indicator on the allocated parking space, and the parking space light on the allocated parking space will keep the red and green lights flashing until the vehicle enters the parking space or until the set time;

Ultrasonic detectors are installed in the parking spaces. After detecting that the vehicle has entered, the system automatically updates the parking space occupancy status and automatically synchronizes the electronic map to ensure that the system allocation is always in line with the actual parking space vacancy situation
