TagStone and Ubisense have collaborated to develop an accurate, safe and reliable solution to ensure the safety and peace of mind for children and parents who shop and entertain at Baroue, MS Retail’s flagship casino. Baroue Shopping and Casino is the first comprehensive entertainment venue in the area, where parents can monitor children’s activities at any time. Based on Ubisense’s tried-and-tested real-time positioning system, parents can monitor where and what their children are playing at the kiosk. Such kiosks are installed throughout the playground.
Baroue Casino is located in Avenues Mall, a new district in Kuwait. It opened on November 20, 2007. It features the Giant Sea Monster Casino, which is as long as 4 London bus buses and 40 feet high. Inside there are linear and spiral slides, magic harp, and jungle gymnasium.
When children play at the Sea Monster Casino, trained Baroue employees monitor their game activities. Every child wears a wristband with a Ubisense location tag on it. Their parents have a ticket with a unique identification code that matches their child’s label.
If parents need to know where their children are playing in the Baroue Casino, they can enter any kiosk and see what their children are playing through their unique tickets. On the three-dimensional map of the casino, you can see that the image of your child becomes brighter. At this time, parents can also ask the camera to follow their child to see more clearly.

Ubisense company provides real-time positioning sensor network, tags and distributed Spatial positioning platform software, which is the heart of the system. TagStone developed casino entrance management software and kiosks. The installation and project management of the system are jointly completed by the two companies. Installation work started in August last year and put into commercial operation in November of the same year.
