Application of Q240 UHF RFID read-write head on FAW-Volkswagen assembly line
[ad_1]
Ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID has the advantages of long-distance fast reading and writing technology, and it is the mainstream identification solution in the field of industrial automation. Yike’s RF30 series RFID includes Q240, Q150, Q80 and other read-write heads, which can meet the needs of different read-write distances and installation sizes, and realize efficient and fast data exchange with the code carrier.
This series of products can be used in automobile manufacturing, auto parts assembly, non-standard automation equipment, machinery manufacturing and other industries to provide complete identification solutions for production automation systems, and has many successful cases. Take the RFID Q240 read-write head as an example. It has been successfully applied to the production management system (MES) project of the NF car assembly workshop of FAW-Volkswagen Chengdu Third Plant.
The MES project of the NF vehicle assembly workshop of FAW-Volkswagen Chengdu Plant 3 undertaken by IKEA adopts a self-suspension conveyor system. In order to cooperate with the system to control the free lift of the car body, the magnetic code carrier needs to be directly attached to the top of the car body, and the read-write head is installed at a position 5 meters away from the car body. It is necessary to read the car body information and write the code carrier at any time , So as to ensure the uniqueness of the information and the car body. When the final assembly process is completed, the code carrier can be removed without being affected by the on-site transportation mode switch (such as from a hanging chain to a skid). In response to such a working environment, the short-range read-write head used in the traditional car identification system (AGV) cannot meet the needs of the scene, but the Ike RFID Q240 read-write head has successfully solved this problem.
Features:
· The reading distance is up to 6 meters, ultra-high frequency fast reading and writing, support dynamic reading;
· Integrated multi-function interface output, in addition to connecting with the gateway module into the bus system, it can also be equipped with direct output interfaces such as Ethernet, RS485 or CANopen;
· IP67 protection grade makes it more suitable for harsh industrial environment.
Schematic diagram of field network structure
The project site uses an industrial computer as the information processing unit. The 6 RFID Q240 read-write heads are built in the same industrial Ethernet through the TCP/IP communication interface and the industrial switch, and the read car body information is passed through the workshop-level information The network carries on the transmission, and then carries on the relevant craft guidance and the production information statistics. The project was finally successfully completed, including RFID and other technical levels that fully met the customer’s requirements.
The excellent performance of the Q240 read-write head has been fully utilized in this project, providing an efficient and flexible body recognition solution for the mixed-line production of the FAW-Volkswagen Chengdu third plant assembly workshop, making the information network structure of the entire workshop simple and rapid information collection Accuracy provides reliable information guarantee for the implementation of MES projects, and improves the overall informatization level of the assembly workshop.
