Changan Ford’s RFID intelligent warehouse management project was put into operation in December 2015, which changed the way of relying on manual scanning to realize automatic scanning verification of commodity vehicles entering and leaving the warehouse, automatic allocation of tasks and recommended parking lanes for trailers entering the field, Vehicles are automatically verified and released, which speeds up the circulation of commodity vehicles and operation efficiency, and all link information will be transmitted to the central control room to achieve full-process visual management. In addition, the RFID system is associated with the VDS system of the Logistics Department, the VLSP warehouse management system and the shipping system, realizing timely data transmission and sharing, and improving the level of vehicle warehouse management.

Compared with the traditional RFID system of the industry, the RIFD storage system of Changan Ford’s vehicle has introduced the following new functions and designs:

1) Dual ground sense working mode: each scan point has “trigger ground sense” and “off ground sense”, “trigger ground sense” starts RFID system work, “off ground sense” records wrong vehicle clearance information, and at the same time Start abnormal alarm.

2) Antenna matrix: Each scanning point is equipped with a top-mounted antenna and a side-mounted antenna to form an antenna radiation wave matrix to ensure that the RFID tags of commercial vehicles and driver RFID tags can be read quickly and accurately, and the smooth passage of commercial vehicles can be verified.

3) Voice device: Each scanning point is equipped with voice intercom devices. After an abnormality occurs, the driver will ask for help through the voice intercom device, and the manager will guide the driver to operate according to the cause of the abnormality, so as to quickly and accurately solve the abnormal problem.
