Project Background
Maoye International Holdings Co., Ltd. is a well-known professional department store retail company listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Its Maoye Department Store currently has 38 stores in 18 cities in South China, Southwest China, North China, and East China, with annual sales. Over 7 billion yuan, ranking the forefront of China’s department store retail industry.
At present, the current cash register situation facing Maoye Department Store is mainly as follows:
(1) The number of cashier counters is too small and inconvenient due to space constraints: Currently, Maoye Department Store has two or three cashier counters on each floor, and customers can only pay at the cashier counter after purchasing goods.
(2) Customers queue for a long time to check out, and there are complaints: when there are many people, long queues are needed to pay, which easily reduces the customer’s desire to buy, thereby reducing the rate of revenue of the mall.
(3) The cashier point occupies a large area, and it is easy to cause congestion during peak hours: customers also occupy space when they queuing for payment, which easily leads to congestion in the flow of people.

Each payment platform terminal will bind a counter through the MAC address in the background system, and automatically download the product information and salesperson information of this counter when logging in.
(1) Choose a product
After the login is successful, the system automatically displays the category information and product number information of the counter. The salesperson selects or enters the product number purchased by the customer, enters the price and quantity of the product, and clicks the shopping cart after confirming.
(2) Swipe membership card
If the customer is a member, you can swipe the membership card on the platform device or manually enter the member’s card number, mobile phone number, ID number, and click OK to bring up the membership information.
(3) Modify order
Click on a selected product in the purchased product, you can edit or delete the price and quantity of the product; if you purchase the selected product, click on settlement.
(4) Confirm payment
Enter the settlement interface, select the salesperson, and determine the amount of the purchased goods. For example, when a member or department store has an event for discounts, the background will automatically calculate the discount and display the actual amount after the discount. After confirming that it is correct, click to pay.
