Rafsec creates a new automatic labeling solution for Nestlé

RFID (Radio Frequency Automatic Identification Professional Service System) label manufacturer-UPM Rafsec announced on January 18 that the company has successfully participated in the promotion of RFID by METRO (Metro Group) and at the same time created the first capability for Nestlé. A device that automatically pastes UHF (ultra high frequency) RFID tags on pallets.

Samuli Stromberg, Head of Business Development at UPM Rafsec, commented, “A major factor in success is that UPM Rafsec’s product development team can participate in the first batch of on-site inspections and gain valuable application knowledge to help partners who provide solutions. One tag can be used to mark all pallets. UPM Rafsec Flag Tag The label is currently the only label application solution compatible with shipping labels on the market. In fact, it can be used in all systems.”

UPM Rafsec has conducted comprehensive and in-depth practical inspections and created the first UHF RFID label attaching system. It is understood that this new automatic label sticking system is scheduled to be put into use at Nestlé’s distribution center in Rangsdorf in January 2005.
