1. System overview
Gas stations are the main channel for sales of finished products, with huge numbers and busy operations. The service objects of gas stations are motor vehicles. With the popularization of automobiles, the operating load of gas stations has also increased sharply. The RFID-based application system has a series of advantages such as non-contact, adjustable working distance, high accuracy, automatic and fast information collection and processing, and good environmental adaptability. It can not only replace the traditional manual entry method, greatly improve the operating efficiency of gas stations, but also Its advanced automatic recognition function can easily achieve tasks that were previously difficult to complete manually.
An RFID reader is installed on the tanker to realize data communication with the tanker. The reader is connected to a network through TCP/IP or RS485 bus (or other data bus), and it can also communicate and network through a wireless transmission network. The gas station data concentrator is connected to the management computer placed in the service hall of the gas station, and the RFID fuel dispenser information management system software is installed on the management computer, through which the automatic refueling function can be realized.
2. The working principle and composition of the system
The RFID fuel dispenser information management system is equipped with an RFID reader on each fuel dispenser, and each refueling can be completed with a card. The system recognizes the vehicles entering the gas station, and the vehicles matching the refueling card have the authority to refuel. One-to-one refueling is realized with one car and one card. The matching is basically one-to-one, but one-to-many or designated single-card refueling is allowed through authority management. After this function is implemented, the legality of refueling vehicles can be guaranteed to the greatest extent, the level of fuel management can be improved, and fuel leaks can be eliminated to a greater extent. The system composition is shown in Table 1:

The functions of the above system departments are as follows:
UPS: Considering that there is no directly usable power supply at the gas station, each fueling machine needs to be equipped with a UPS to provide reliable power for the system, and the UPS can be 800 watts or higher.
RFID reader: used to identify vehicle tags and send the read tag information to the system control center in TCP/IP or wireless mode.
Card issuing machine: used for card issuing authorization and recharge function of vehicle-mounted tags.
LED display: used to display detailed information of refueling motor vehicles, including driver information, license plate number, refueling amount, preset refueling amount, refueling cost, etc., the display can be used outdoors, with waterproof, high temperature resistance, Fire prevention and other functions.
Keyboard: The motor vehicle driver can input a refueling amount through the keyboard, and the system can accurately refuel according to the refueling amount input by the customer. The keyboard can be used outdoors and has functions such as high temperature resistance and fire prevention.
Metering instrument: The metering instrument can track the fuel flow process, calculate the current fueling amount at the same time, and transmit fueling information to the LED display in real time.
Wireless AP: The entire system of the tanker can communicate with the background system through a wireless AP, and the effective communication distance is 80m to 100m.
