Project Background
FamilyMart Convenience Store is one of the large-scale convenience stores in the world. It currently has more than 1,500 stores nationwide; Shanghai Dingshi Distribution Center officially opened in June 2008, mainly for the logistics and distribution of the family’s room temperature and cold chain products. So far, it is responsible for the distribution of room temperature and fresh food in 1,200 FamilyMart convenience stores. However, with the continuous expansion of FamilyMart’s business volume, coupled with the increase in demand, the Dingshi distribution center is facing the pressure of full-temperature picking.

Haiding formally implemented the electronic label picking system (DAPS) in May 2010, which supports the picking of normal temperature and cold chain products. It took only one day to achieve stable operation of the system. Starting in May 2011, cold chain fresh food achieved one day In two batches of operations, some stores achieve two distributions a day.
