First of all, I am very grateful to RFID World Network for giving me such an opportunity to share with you our Siemens RFID products and their applications in different industries. Let me first introduce myself. My name is Shi Dan. I belong to the Siemens Group. I am responsible for the market and sales of Siemens RFID products across the country. Siemens RFID has a long history within Siemens. Many people in our country are I don’t know much about this one, so let’s take this opportunity to discuss the application of our Siemens industry.

I will not introduce more about what RFID is. I will talk about a few pieces about our Siemens RFID. The Siemens RFID industry mainly divides products into three series. For example, we have contacted some R&D companies and product companies that do RFID. For interface modules, many of our RFIDs are in the production industry. RFID is used a lot in the factory mode. This is more important. For example, Siemens has developed high-temperature resistant tags and tags with higher memory capacity to meet the applications and needs of customers in our industry.

As I mentioned before, our Siemens developed RFID products based on the automobile manufacturing industry in the early 1980s. The last part is actually a series of different products that we developed in the early years. We developed the MOBY series of products. In recent years, we have also followed the trend. We have changed the name of MOBY. In the future, our Siemens will have RF300 and RF600 products. These products have different characteristics.

The first thing I introduce is RF300. Our factory sensors are also automated. We add SIMATIC before R without F300 to realize the concept of automated production in this industry. Our Siemens RF300 is a high-frequency series of RFID products that work at a frequency of 13.56 megabits. At this point we have developed a lot of tags, ranging from 8 bytes to 64 bytes. We will never affect the rhythm and beat of the production process. The reason for this is that there are many, many applications in other manufacturing industries, especially emphasizing that the production cycle should be fast, the cost should be low, and the production should be stable. Siemens The products are produced in response to these needs. The industrial protection level can generally reach IP67, and the label can reach IP68. Sometimes we can see oil pollution and water impact. These protections are also more necessary. We can connect to our Siemens own POC bus and our S7-300.

We know that the performance advantage of RF300 is the relatively high transmission rate. There is an optical display element on the reading and writing, which can reduce the start-up time and speed up the efficiency of our debugging. Only when the factory is down, we can reduce the downtime, and we also configure The middleware of RFID, including many of our equipment are very compact, and there are production installations and requirements. This picture gives you an impression that in the entire automated production process, the RFID system is at the bottom layer. Its function is the collection function, and the other is the system control layer. The application of typical high-frequency products in Siemens is more used in the automotive industry. So far, more than 90% of the RFID applications in the global automotive industry use our Siemens products. The automotive industry has body workshops, For spraying workshops or final assembly workshops, Siemens provides corresponding products on these lines. In different production processes, such as boring tracking, assembly lines, and production workshops, we all provide special products. They have different read-write distance requirements and different temperature requirements. Siemens has more than 20 years of RFID so far. Product development experience, at the same time, we have installed more than 300,000 reading and writing devices around the world, and more than 40,000 high-temperature labels in the spraying workshop.

Specifically, we can see how we apply in the automobile manufacturing industry. These are relatively new to our industry, or relatively new to me. There is a high-voltage electromagnetic welding torch in our workshop to prevent Electromagnetic waves interfere with our RFID products. You may know that the primer of the car is completed at a high temperature, so we have developed some tags. When our vehicle is finally assembled into a complete vehicle, we also need our RFID tag to perform the entire vehicle. For tracking, we provide tags up to 3 meters. All these tags are based on 13.56 megabits of frequency band tags.

Below I will briefly introduce the different products we use in different manufacturing processes, and what advantages it equals to our customers. First of all, I will start with the automobile manufacturing process, the power assembly line. Usually when the product is assembled, the engine is the core of a car. We need to detect the engine data and track the data after leaving the factory. We even need to save during the assembly process. Some distorted data, all data is in our database, and then we can realize the tracking or monitoring of product quality. Our customers have to need our RFID to store data, as well as changing requirements. In addition, the amount of data is also very large. For this According to the application requirements, we install our optical fiber on the pallet and store our quality data. In the whole process, if RFID is used, the cost will be very low, and the production cycle will also be accelerated.

There are many high-voltage welding guns and many electric sparks on the car body recognition, such as a robot arm. In the process of car manufacturing, the body of the previous car and the next car may be different. The corresponding welding The points will also be different. Finding a good solder joint is the technology of RFID. It is necessary to accurately find this spot and perform a series of procedures, and at the same time make new inputs to the welding procedure to meet the needs of the production process. In the entire production process, the concept of automated production, our demand for RFID in the industry is also increasing. In the spraying workshop, I will mention it a little bit. The most important part of the spraying workshop is that we need to have high temperature resistance. Requirements, there is usually a high temperature resistance index, usually around 200 degrees. Our Siemens set a label at about 220 degrees. The number of times is unlimited. The service life is 1177. If the customer uses such a label, it will last for a long time. Said that the cost is very low. In this process of use, manual spray welding is rarely used now, usually automatic spray welding. What kind of paint we need to spray, it is not common to stand alone. This may be a solution, but it is not efficient. The solution is not a highly efficient and precise method. The only molecule is to use RFID equipment to achieve spraying through the slide.

The reader is installed on the ceiling. The barcodes of Porsche, BMW and other cars are different. Many RFID tags need to be distinguished and tracked. From the perspective of automated production, the cost is relatively low, helping customers avoid errors in the production process. The most important thing is the reliability of production. Production will stop after some people make mistakes in the production process.

In the production logistics, when we want to install some car seats or auxiliary accessories, the material of this seat and that of the seat may be different. If there is a difference, it is the RFID technology that is used.

Next, I will tell you about our RF600, which is the serial number we defined to ourselves. According to the industry, the product series, such as reading and writing and antenna, data carrier and printer, can communicate with our warehouse management system. , Connection, etc.

Siemens’ RF600RFID system has passed China’s use standards, and there are North American and European use standards. Normally, the registration is relatively high. Our reading and writing distance is generally about 6-8 meters. We now recognize 200 at a time. The label can be read and written once, and it can be well integrated with our warehouse system, providing a good software design to facilitate customer use.

This sketch shows you a fixed reader. At the same time, we provide a handheld device. The RF300 product I mentioned earlier sometimes requires manual operation of the handheld device during the production process in the factory. We also Provide this kind of handheld device, RF610 portable reader, with a unit head developed by Siemens. Customers can install a barcode scanning head according to their needs. At present, our handheld device can read and write RFID data and barcode data at the same time. Siemens provides three different labels. The first one may be known to everyone. It is a one-time-use label that provides two frequency bands. The second one is a low-cost tracking container provided by Siemens based on the characteristics of the industry. Cost solution, this label has two parts, the upper part is generally used RF620T, this product can not be installed on metal, but we provide the above one, if our label and gasket are used together, it can be on metal Tracking on the Internet, tracking some metal products and pallets, as well as oil and water resistance.

This piece is a tie-type label that can be used on metal. The installation and design of this label are very simple. At the same time, it has passed the ATEX explosion-proof certification and can be used under harsh conditions.

Our RF products are mainly used in hardware equipment and resource management. At the same time, we can convert the data and information that we have captured RFID into a stable form to serve our system. So far, Siemens RF600 has been used in automation libraries. , For example, some three-dimensional automation libraries will be applied to RF600 products. This is the management of workpiece pallets done in Berlin, Germany. Everyone knows about these managements. It is nothing more than sticking this label on the product that needs to be managed, and then installing our antenna. Through this management method, Siemens itself We think it’s very useful for our own products. First of all, it is easy to find very expensive pallets. Second, in the entire application, you can rely on the reliability of the data to make a very good production plan, or to share the test plan on the outside. In other words, it is a small application, but we can do more work, which is also the charm of RFID.

The second is the application in the supply chain. This is the application in other companies. This manufacturer is a CD manufacturer. The labor in Europe and the United States is more expensive. From the company’s cost savings, it may be cheaper and better to install a system.

There are also applications of mutual brackets. For example, in North America, the United States, and Europe, we need to trace food safety. For example, we need to know when it was shipped from the factory and its destination. It is very convenient. It can be traced back to the flow and source of food. There are many examples abroad. Not much to talk about.

Finally, let me briefly mention the so-called one of Siemens’ special products is MOBYR. We repositioned and searched it. It was first applied in the vehicle parking garage in the market. We need to find a 4S shop or which car customized by the customer. When we couldn’t find this car in the vast sea of ​​cars, we used it to find it. Its positioning is very simple. Like our GPRS satellite, we can see which point the car is on the drawing through the continuous signals. . Our positioning distance is about 3 meters, which is accurate to a car. The coverage of each corner is 300 meters. There are many good examples abroad. For example, in our garage, after the customer provides the drawings, the on-site engineer After configuring the product and supplying the corresponding software according to the application requirements, product tracking can be provided. It is a bit like an automated library, with a slight difference that controls the permission of vehicles to enter and exit a certain field based on several starting points.

This is the application process in Chrysler, which mainly distinguishes the application of internal vehicles and external vehicles.

The main supplier on our customer’s side had more than 1,000 vehicles entering and exiting. Later, after it adopted our MOBYR, it was very well positioned to automatically enter and exit the gate, and at the same time, the gate registered its entry and exit times. In such an automated process Among them, the traffic flow is optimized and the vehicle congestion is solved. In general, our Siemens RFID applications can be divided into two categories: The first is the application in the logistics industry, such as warehousing, logistics, distribution, weekly letter distribution, etc. It is a low-cost solution with For the transmission range of China distance, we also mentioned RF600 and RF300, which are anti-interference, high-capacity and reliable communication.
