System Overview
For many years, the management and staff of the library have been plagued by problems such as book self-service borrowing and returning, quick inventory, searching, and sorting out books in disorder. After RFID technology research and development, Chiplink has formed a series of library supporting equipment, which greatly improves management methods, improves work efficiency, reduces the labor intensity of management personnel, and provides a complete solution for the library application field.
System composition
The intelligent book management system includes: label conversion system, self-service book borrowing system, self-service book return system, intelligent search system, cart-type inventory system, and dual-frequency security door detection system.
System flow
☆ New book registration: Each new book will be affixed with an RFID tag when it is put into the library, and the tag will be bound with the corresponding book in the system;
☆ Automatic inventory and positioning: Each smart book cabinet uses the program inside the reader to control the antenna connected to the reader, scanning one by one is the process of reading the tags in the library to determine whether the book exists;
☆ Automatic identification: When the borrower finds out the specific location of the book he needs through the book resource management subsystem, and takes out the required information from the bookcase with his legal borrowing card, and then operates the self-finishing system, the system will The entire behavior is automatically recorded.
☆ Automatic tracking: Books and materials contained in clothes and packages will be automatically discovered by the system when passing through the entrance and exit. For the materials found, the system will automatically determine whether to call the police;
System advantages
☆ The information can be updated. After the barcode is printed, it cannot be changed, and the electronic label can be modified, added, and deleted almost countless times.
☆ Long-distance reading and writing, the reading distance is adjustable. The barcode scanner can only be read at a short distance and when there is no obstruction. The tag information can be read as long as the electronic tag is within the recognition range. The maximum distance for reading the electronic tag information can reach 8 meters. The reading distance is adjustable.
☆ It can read multiple electronic label information at the same time. Barcode scanners can only read one bar code information at a time, while radio frequency readers can read multiple label information at the same time.
☆ Strong penetrability. The barcode reader can be read only when the barcode reader is close and without obstruction by the scanning light source illuminating the barcode. As long as the electronic tag is within the range of electromagnetic waves, the communication between the reader and the electronic tag can be completed. Even if the electronic label is wrapped in non-metallic materials such as paper, the label information can be read.
☆ Strong ability to adapt to the environment. If the paper is contaminated, the information on it can no longer be seen, but the electronic label has a strong resistance to water and oil.
Social benefit
☆ Readers can quickly find the books they want to borrow, and the procedures for borrowing and returning are simple, enabling rapid circulation and improving management efficiency
☆ Improved book borrowing rate
☆ Improve the humanized service level of the library
☆ Reduce the workload of librarians, easily manage borrowing, and improve work and service efficiency
☆ Simplified the procedures for readers to borrow and return books
☆ Significantly improve the efficiency of book inventory and the sorting of wrong books
