Public bicycle positioning anti-theft system
[ad_1]
I. Overview
Green travel is becoming more and more beneficial to today’s society, so the popular shared bicycles and public bicycles have become indispensable ways for citizens to travel. With the increase of such bicycles, management problems have become increasingly serious.
Compared with shared bicycles, public bicycles have obvious advantages in management and will not cause bicycles to gather together and affect normal traffic. With the increase in government investment, the general public will be able to rent public bicycles in more urban areas in the future. As of the end of 2016, more than 400 cities and counties in my country have been equipped with public bicycle systems, and the cumulative number of public bicycle lock devices has reached 890,000 sets. Citizens can use bus cards to rent bicycles, and use Alipay and WeChat payment. , Realize offline consumption and background billing.
However, the theft of public bicycles has always been a very headache. The theft of public bicycles during the rental process, especially the theft of bicycles in batches at outlets, is becoming more and more common, and there is currently no good mechanism to protect public bicycles. Safety.
2. Introduction to application requirements
The application layout of public bicycles is shown in Figure 1. Each public bicycle is equipped with an active tag, and each bicycle network is equipped with a base station.

1. Lost Tracking
Each public bicycle is equipped with an anti-theft tag, and each rental network is equipped with a base station, and the system can locate it 24 hours a day. When the bicycle is accidentally lost or stolen, the owner reports the loss to the relevant department. After confirming the owner’s information, the administrator can query the corresponding vehicle information according to the vehicle rental record, and then enter the bicycle-related information in the anti-theft system, and then locate the location of the reported bicycle. And driving track.
2. Building Cloud Data
Each anti-theft label corresponds to the bicycle license plate, and the label records: license plate, production date, manufacturer, frame number, photo and other information, which builds a clear cloud database for the management of urban public bicycles.
3. Audit work
After locating the suspicious bicycle trajectory through the system, the administrator can take the handheld PDA to the nearest base station to search for the attachment. The handheld PDA has the function of direction guidance.
4. Effect expansion
After the completion of the system, the private vehicles of the public can be managed for anti-lost positioning, forming an intelligent network for social security maintenance and positioning.
3. System introduction
“Public bicycle positioning and anti-theft system” utilizes the characteristics of wireless transmission, low power consumption, and network positioning to realize the functions of wiring-free, precise identification and area identification.
1. Anti-theft label
Figure 2 Anti-theft label
The anti-theft tag has a unique ID number in the country, which is bound to the detailed information of the bicycle. When the bicycle approaches the base station or PDA, the system can obtain the ID number. The working temperature of the anti-theft tag is -20°C~70°C, and the battery can work for 3 years. The tag is recommended to be fixedly installed in the bicycle leather seat, as shown in Figure 2.
2. Base Station
Figure 3 Base station
A base station is installed at each bicycle network. In order to prevent malicious damage, the base station shell adopts ABS+PC, which is waterproof and dustproof, wear-resistant, heat-resistant, impact-resistant, and has flame retardancy. The base station communicates with the background server through the wireless network. When the base station at a certain intersection is not working (such as power failure), other base stations are not affected in any way, ensuring the stability of the system.
The working temperature of the base station is -20°C~80°C, 220V AC power supply. The appearance is shown in Figure 3.
Figure 4 Bicycle transfer management
Regarding the transfer management of public bicycles at the site, because the anti-theft measures are relatively simple, once broken, it will cause batch losses. The administrator can set these bicycles to the armed state through the handheld PDA. In the armed state, when the bicycle leaves the site, The system will immediately alarm, and the protection distance of the base station is within 100 meters.
3. Handheld PDA
Figure 5 Handheld
When the bicycle is reported lost, the administrator can track the suspicious bicycle’s trajectory through the system, confirm the location of the base station closest to the bicycle, and combine the handheld to search for bicycles near the base station. The distance for the handheld PDA to read the bicycle is about 60 to 80 meters.

Five, system advantages
1. Long reading distance
The reading and writing distance of anti-theft tags is far greater than that of passive tags. The system will monitor public bicycles in an area within 100m, so that bicycle information can be quickly read when monitoring and managing bicycles.
2. No dead angle recognition
Since the wireless signal of the active tag is sent out in the form of spherical waves, there is no requirement for the installation direction of the active tag installed on the bicycle. No matter which direction the device passes through the intersection, it can be recognized by the base station.
3. Low radiation impact
Passive tags need to provide energy from the reading head, so the base station’s wireless signal transmission power is relatively high. When the wireless signal power reaches a certain value, it will be harmful to the human body. Relative to passive tags, active tags can provide energy by themselves, so that the transmission power of base stations and tags can be made relatively small, and the radiation is 1/100 of that of mobile phones.
4. Long working hours
Active tags use wireless technology with low data volume and low power consumption. The sleep power consumption is μA, so that the battery working time of the active tags can be as long as 3 years.
