Subject background

The silk-making workshop of Ningbo Cigarette Factory of Zhejiang China Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. adopts box-type silk storage technology, and uses the cigarette box as the carrier to realize the storage and circulation of cut tobacco. The information management system compares the information in the WMS database with the information in the RFID card at the bottom of the cigarette box to realize the error-proof management of the cigarette box. In addition to the functions of automatic writing, blanking, and rewriting during production operation, the modification of cigarette box information also requires manual modification functions to facilitate the information modification of some special cigarette boxes.

At present, the workshop is equipped with a handheld RFID reader on the spot. The disadvantage is that the display interface is small, the string is continuous and not separated, and there is no annotation. It can only be used for data reading, and cannot be modified and written. However, there is a problem that it is not safe and convenient to use the online program of the notebook computer to modify the written data. Therefore, it takes a long time for the operator to modify the RFID information of the cigarette box each time, with an average of 17.8 seconds/time, and there is still a certain risk of error.

Cause Analysis

In the daily production process, the modification and writing of the RFID information of the cigarette box are completed by the electrical maintenance workers and the CT library on-site operators through the card reading and writing equipment. The steps include: use a laptop with S7 Siemens programming software to modify the IP address, access the online program of the production network segment where the RFID card reader device is located, modify several target bytes through the variable modification function of the S7 software, Operations such as emptying.

It can be seen that the entire modification process is relatively complicated and low in efficiency, there are hidden dangers such as IP address conflicts causing equipment to drop, and it is severely limited by venues and equipment. When faced with a large number of write or write empty tasks, the shortcomings of inefficiency will be infinitely magnified, and the error probability of manual operations will also be greatly increased.

solution

In order to solve the problem of difficulty in writing RFID information, the technical team of Ningbo Cigarette Factory’s silk workshop designed and developed a mobile RFID card information modification tool.

In terms of hardware, the 8H10D-1 IC card reader is selected as the hardware carrier, which is small in size, light in weight, supports hot swap, high in convenience, high and stable in transmission rate, and meets the requirements of development and use.

In terms of communication, the hardware supports MIFARE standard, 13.56MHz operating frequency, USB to HIT, and 57600bit/s transmission baud rate. The information storage format and transmission method can be determined according to the hardware selection. At the same time, according to the content of the RFID card, determine the information to be transmitted and its specific format. The content includes unit ID, status bit, origin, material code, batch number, packing time, version number, packing sequence, moisture value, Net weight and empty box weight.

In terms of software, after determining the transmission content and format, the software needs to be designed as a whole, and VS2015 is selected as the development environment for programming. In order to realize the basic reading and writing functions, the design of RFID reading and writing functional blocks is shown in Figure 1.

The process is as follows: 1. Detect the status of the card reader device and identify the RFID information, and give corresponding prompts when errors occur; 2. After the normal identification, extract the key information and go to the main interface, and the read and write empty functions will appear; 3. If Apply the read function, enter the detailed editing interface, and you can freely modify the data and execute it; 4. If the write empty function is applied, the key fields are reserved and part of the information is written empty; 5. Write success or error, both There will be corresponding prompts and alarms.

After completing the basic module of RFID reading and writing, edit the control module of the software. The function flow chart of the procedure is shown as in Fig. 2.

After realizing the control and basic functions of the software, edit the screen. Since most of the on-site equipment in the workshop is controlled by a touch screen, a large button touch design is adopted.

Effectiveness verification

At present, 3 sets of equipment (2 sets of semi-finished shredded tobacco warehouse and 1 set of finished tobacco shredded warehouse) are put into operation in the elevated tobacco storage area of the silk-making workshop of Ningbo Cigarette Factory, which are provided to operators in relevant areas for use and managed by electrical maintenance personnel. maintain.

After the implementation of the project, the technical staff made statistics on the use of the team operators and sorted out the use of the mobile RFID card information modification tool within 6 months. Statistics show that the average editing time of a single RFID card has dropped from 17.8S to 7.9S, the editing accuracy rate has risen from 95.25% to 99.80%, and the error rate has not exceeded 0.30% for 6 consecutive months.

Currently, this mobile RFID card information modification tool has obtained software copyright.
