2. Overview of RFID card consumption system

This system is a consumption management system based on non-contact RFID card and handheld RFID card POS machine, based on computer and GPRS wireless communication. This system uses non-contact RFID card as the identity card of each member and the identity and authority management card of corporate employees. Hand-held RFID card POS machines are deployed in consumer places, and the content of each member’s consumption can be collected and combined through the POS machine. Storage, and real-time transmission via GPRS wireless communication to the back-end database of the central management center of the corporate headquarters for centralized management. At the same time, new members can issue cards or perform card management such as cancellation, loss reporting, and card replacement.

2.1 System architecture:

2.2 System operation:

1) VIP member information and membership card management:

Member information is registered by the management center of the headquarters of the consumer site and recorded in the background database, and each member is issued a card through a card issuing machine (this program uses YX1036USB-L reader of Shanghai Yingxin Information), and each member’s file is stored in the card : Name number, contact information, membership level and other information, and at the same time initialize the electronic wallet function of the RFID card and encrypt the data.

When a member withdraws from the membership or needs to cancel the card for other reasons, there are also card issuers that perform the card cancellation operation. Card loss reporting, card replacement, and other operations can be performed at the card issuer or at the handheld POS terminal, and the card number of the lost card is entered into the blacklist.

2) Consumption data collection:

Every time a member makes a purchase, the store staff can log in to the corresponding operating system with their authorized ID card, and then enter the item number and consumption amount on the handheld, and then swipe the membership card to deduct the consumption. The POS machine will Record member personal information, consumption time, consumption amount and other records, and print consumption receipts for customers and stores to save as vouchers. All recorded information is instantly transmitted to the back-end server database of the headquarters management center via GPRS for storage.

3) Upload and download consumption data:

For handheld POS machines, we upload data to the IP of the management center via GPRS. The uploaded data includes the machine address and data of the POS machine and other related content. At the same time, the blacklist and other information of the management center can also be downloaded to the handheld terminal through GPRS or telephone line, network cable, etc., for storage.

4) Back-end management software: The back-end management software can perform member information management, consumption information query, statistics, analysis, etc. for members.

2.3 Main functions of the system:

Identity identification function: RFID card stores member identity information, and the RFID card terminal can display member identity and basic information during consumption.

Electronic wallet function: The RFID card can be read and written, and the record of each consumption can be kept in the RFID card. At the same time, the RFID card has an encryption function to ensure the security of the system.

3. Hardware design of member management system

The hardware used in this system includes a card issuer and a wireless handheld POS terminal; the non-contact IC card used is a high-frequency RFID card. They provide the core technical guarantee for the function realization of this system.
