Airport non-powered equipment entry and exit management system

 1. Demand background

There are at least 6000 unpowered equipment in the airport, and it is very cumbersome and complicated to maintain these equipment manually. Aiming at such problems, Zhongzhi Internet of Things has developed the “airport unpowered equipment entry and exit management system”, which can perfectly solve the following problems: first, the equipment can be fully identified and recorded when entering and exiting different crossings; second, the staff During the inspection work, the system can automatically identify the airport equipment around the inspection vehicle to facilitate inspection registration; third, the system can locate the target equipment in the area.

Two, application introduction

The application layout of unpowered equipment is shown in Figure 1. It is divided into three major areas: logistics park, airport, and external maintenance. The airport has a total of 6000 equipment to be managed, and the equipment is located between these three areas. The inspection vehicle conducts inspection work between the logistics park and the airport. There is an entrance and exit between the logistics park and the airport, and there are 6 entrances and exits between the airport and external maintenance, and the equipment can only enter and exit through the crossing.

1. Unpowered equipment

The equipment has the characteristics of many types, different shapes, and different shell materials. Each device has an active tag that records its device information. The system can accurately record the equipment entering and exiting the crossing through the tag, and can accurately and accurately identify the area to which each device belongs.

2. Level crossing base station

A base station is installed inside and outside the crossing. As shown in Figure 1, when the device is identified by the base station in Zone 1 and the base station in Zone 2, the system considers that the device has been moved from Zone 1 to Zone 2. If the crossing base station recognizes that the device does not have permission to pass , The base station will alert with sound and light, and the system will send out an alarm at the same time.

3. Inspection vehicle

The inspection vehicle patrols between the logistics park and the airport, and the inspectors are equipped with special hand-held phones. The handheld has the opportunity to identify the equipment about 10-20 meters (distance can be set) around the inspection vehicle, which is convenient for the management personnel to check the non-powered equipment. Carry out inventory and search management.

4. Working environment

Unpowered equipment is working in a completely open-air environment. On cement floors, labels are required to be able to work for a long time in a high temperature environment, and they need to be waterproof, dustproof and shockproof.

Three, equipment introduction

1. Locate the label

The location tag records the information of the device. When the device is close to the crossing, the tag information can be obtained through the base station. The tag is fixed on the device and has mounting ears, which can be fixed in a variety of ways. The appearance is shown in Figure 2. Each device standard Equipped with a positioning label (also equipped with more).

2. Locating the base station

The positioning base station adopts a unique mold and a waterproof and dustproof design. It can be used in a long-term outdoor environment. By laying before and after the entrance and exit, the passing unpowered equipment can be recorded and corresponding warnings can be given. The base station can upload data to the background in a variety of ways, such as Ethernet/3G, etc., which can quickly adapt to the on-site environment.

 3. Handheld

The dedicated handset has a unique communication function with the positioning tag, which can be used for portable inspection and device positioning search, which greatly optimizes the flexibility and practicability of operation.

4. Examples of field application equipment

It is conservatively estimated that there are more than 6000 unpowered equipment in the airport. The equipment is mainly used between the logistics park and the airport. Some equipment is shown as follows:

Five, system advantages

1. Effective guarantee

Most non-powered devices are metal devices. Metal devices have strong absorption for passive tags, while active location tags have high anti-interference. Use on non-powered devices can ensure the stability and effectiveness of the system.

2. No dead angle recognition

Since the wireless signal of the active tag is sent out in the form of spherical waves, there is no requirement for the installation direction of the active tag installed on the unpowered equipment. No matter which direction the equipment passes through the crossing, it can be recognized by the crossing base station.

3. Low radiation impact

Passive tags need the host to provide energy when working, so the host’s wireless signal transmission power is relatively high. When the wireless signal power reaches a certain value, it will be harmful to the human body. Compared with base stations with passive tags, active tags can provide energy by themselves, so that the transmit power of base stations and tags can be made relatively small, which is equivalent to 0.01 times the power of a mobile phone.

 4. Strong scalability

After the active tag is installed on the airport equipment, in addition to completing the function of the equipment being recognized at the crossing, it also facilitates the function upgrade of the subsequent system. Check the equipment around the vehicle to facilitate inspection and registration; it is also possible to locate the equipment in the area through active tags.

5. Long battery life

Active tags use wireless technology with low data volume and low power consumption, and the sleep power consumption is uA level, so that the active tags can work for a long time, and the working time can be as long as 2 to 3 years.
