Automatic Railway Car Number Recognition System
[ad_1]
The goal of the ATIS system
The goal of the Automatic Railway Number Identification System (ATIS) is to install electronic tags (TAG) on all locomotives and freight cars; to install ground identification equipment (AEI) in all section stations, marshalling stations, large freight stations and boundary stations; The train and vehicle information is accurately identified; after computer processing, it provides accurate and real-time basic information required for real-time tracking and management of trains, vehicles, and containers for TMIS (Railway Management Information System) and other systems; for the accuracy of freight cars in the demarcation station Statistics provide guarantee; provide accurate information of train numbers and train numbers for the infrared axle temperature detection system; it can also realize real-time management of current trains at all levels of ministries, bureaus, sub-bureaus, and stations, accurate statistics and real-time adjustment of traffic flow, etc. In order to establish a computer automatic report collection system for railway train number, locomotive and freight car number, identification, attribute and location.
The key technology of ATIS system
1. The main components of the ATIS system
(1) Truck/Locomotive Electronic Tag (TAG). Installed on the middle beam at the bottom of locomotives and trucks, it consists of a microstrip antenna, virtual power supply, reflection modulator, encoder, microprocessor and memory. Each electronic tag is equivalent to the “ID card” of each vehicle.
(2) Ground Identification System (AEI). It is composed of ground antennas installed between the tracks, wheel sensors, RF microwave radio frequency devices installed in the detection room, and readout computers (industrial computers). Accurately identify running trains and vehicles.
(3) Centralized Management System (CPS). The station main engine room is equipped with a special computer, and the information transmitted from the industrial computer is processed, stored and forwarded through the centralized management system (CPS).
(4) The central database management system of the Ministry of Railways. The general headquarters of the whole road label programming station. Check each batch of vehicle numbers applied by the label programming station with the central vehicle number database, and reassign new vehicle numbers for heavy vehicle numbers. Then return the approved vehicle number information to the label programming station. That is, it centrally processes, distributes, and approves vehicle number information, and at the same time is an information management and information query center.Like the central nervous system of the human brain
2. Several main technical keys to the realization of ATIS system
2.1 The key technology of information processing-CPS multi-threaded multi-target store-and-forward technology
How to efficiently and fully utilize the information collected by the vehicle number ground recognition system, and to interface friendly with the railway TMIS system and exchange information, so that the basic information can be shared efficiently? Centralized Management System (CPS) is an important interface link to achieve this goal .
CPS has the characteristics of a multi-threaded multi-target store-and-forward mechanism. Messages can be sent to multiple targets at the same time, with high sending efficiency; CPS forwarding program has the characteristics of accuracy and no loss of messages, and has a certain real-time performance. It is a store and forward device. When the CPS receives an AEI message, the forwarding program immediately sends the message to each predefined target. If the network line to a certain target is unavailable at this time, the forwarding program will store the unsuccessful message and wait for the line to pass. , The forwarding program automatically sends out the previously unsuccessful messages. The application mode is shown in Figure 1 below:
The file transfer of the forwarder is based on the TCP/IP protocol. The high-level transmission protocol uses FTP protocol or CPS custom protocol. For host operating systems such as UNIX, VMS, OS/2, WINDOWNS NT and other operating systems with FTP service program, use FTP protocol to transfer messages; for operating systems without FTP service program for WINDOWD95 and WINDOWS98, install a forwarding system on it The equipped CPS message receiving program uses CPS custom protocol to transmit message files. The CPS forwarding program has a wide range of applicability. It is an important software project in the automatic identification system of vehicle number.
2.2 Working steps of the ground identification system (AEI)
When the train is about to enter the station, the count starts when the first wheel of the train presses over the magnet steel. When it is greater than or equal to 6 times, the microwave radio frequency device (RF) is turned on, and the microwave radio frequency device remains closed when no train passes. After the microwave radio frequency device is turned on, the ground antenna installed on the track starts to work, and transmits a microwave carrier signal to the passive electronic tag at the bottom of each car of the rapidly passing train to provide energy for the tag to start working; Under the control of the microprocessor, the information in the tag is encoded by the encoder, and the microstrip antenna is controlled by the modulator to start reflecting the information to the ground; the ground antenna immediately receives the reflected information in the tag and transmits it to the detection room next to the railway; The unattended ground reading computer (industrial computer) in the machine room demodulates, decodes, processes and distinguishes the received modulated wave signal; then sends the processed information to the CPS centralized management system in the station machine room. When the wheels of the last car of the train pass the door closing magnet, the radio frequency device (RF) is turned off. The CPS system manages multiple ground identification devices, and transmits the identified information to the railway TMIS and other systems in accordance with the railway TMIS communication protocol, that is, purposeful storage and forwarding. The working procedure mode of the ground identification system (AEI) is shown in Figure 2:
