Application Design of RFID Radio Frequency Identification Technology in the Management of Dump Truck
[ad_1]
1. Overview of RFID technology
RFID radio frequency identification is a non-contact automatic identification technology. It automatically identifies target objects and obtains relevant data through radio frequency signals. The identification work does not require manual intervention and can work in various harsh environments. With the improvement of chip and electronic technology, RFID technology has been practically applied in many fields, including production automation, access control, highway toll collection, parking lot management, identity recognition, cargo tracking, etc.
In recent years, the development process of urban construction has accelerated. Many large and medium-sized cities in China have begun large-scale infrastructure construction, and they have increasingly shown a high-density, ultra-conventional situation. huge pressure. Therefore, the phenomenon of stealing and dumping muck is often caused in society; muck trucks are often overloaded and overspeed, driving illegally, and often do not follow the prescribed route; at the same time, due to overloading and overspeeding, they are not tightly covered, resulting in dust along the road during the entire driving process. There are constant complaints from citizens, and every year, members of the National People’s Congress and the CPPCC put forward relevant proposals. The management pressure of the government management departments is already on the verge of extreme. How to effectively control it and reduce its impact on the environment has become a hot issue of social concern.
The muck truck management information system based on RFID technology designed in this paper is equipped with loading and unloading recording equipment at each construction site excavation point and muck backfill point, and active RFID electronic tags are installed on qualified muck transportation vehicles, combined with muck operation Management of license management and toll settlement, through matching of loading and unloading information to realize backfill point payment, so as to finally realize the supervision of the whole process of muck transportation, reduce the occurrence of construction muck stolen and disorderly, prevent illegal muck transportation vehicles from entering, and ensure legality The normal operation of the market provides a guarantee for the creation of a harmonious and beautiful city environment.
2. RFID technology and application of muck truck management
The waste truck management information system based on RFID technology is composed of three subsystems: vehicle-mounted RFID equipment, ground handheld/fixed RFID reader, and system management software.
RFID is divided into passive RFID and active RFID according to the way of energy supply. Active RFID can provide longer reading and writing distance, but it needs battery power supply and is suitable for long-distance reading and writing applications. According to the application frequency, it can be divided into low frequency (below 135KHz), high frequency (13.56MHz), ultra high frequency (860M~960MHz) and microwave (2.45GHz, 5.8GHz) RFID. In the system discussed in this article, the vehicle-mounted RFID device adopts an anti-removal active tag with a working frequency of 2.45GHz, and the device can be installed at the front windshield of the car or other suitable locations. The inside of the RFID tag adopts an anti-disassembly design and cannot be removed once it is firmly pasted. In the event of forced removal by external force, the tag cannot be used again until it is re-authorized, and an alarm signal will continue to be sent. The purpose of choosing this type of RFID tag is to prevent it from being misappropriated, especially in an application environment where the RFID electronic tag is given the unique legitimacy of the identity.
The ground handheld/fixed RFID reader is used to read the vehicle RFID data information. The RFID readers deployed at various construction sites and muck backfilling points can read the data information in the active RFID electronic tags installed on qualified muck transportation vehicles. The RFID reader communicates wirelessly with the RFID electronic tag through the antenna, which can read or write the tag identification code and memory data. The reader is equipped with GPS and GPRS wireless data transmission modules at the same time. After reading the RFID information, the reader stores the information locally, and at the same time transmits the loading and unloading information of the muck and the GPS data of the transportation process back to the information center database for recording and storage through the GPRS data network.
The system management software is designed to fully consider the construction scale of large and medium cities. The design capacity allows hundreds of readers to upload data and read information at the same time, and allows more than one hundred users to query and count system data at the same time. The C/S system is adopted from the perspective of system real-time, and the B/S system is considered from the perspective of management and data concentration. Integrating the existing technology, the system finally uses the combination of Microsoft’s SmartClient technology and WEB to ensure the real-time, fast response, data concentration, ease of management and future function expansion requirements of the entire system. For some statistical analysis data and reports, pure B/S can be used to realize it, which can facilitate information exchange and sharing with other systems.
The data acquisition process of the entire system can be briefly summarized as follows: RFID readers are installed at construction sites and muck backfilling points, active RFID electronic tags are installed on qualified muck transportation vehicles, and RFID readers read qualified data information. , The information is transmitted to the information management center through the GPRS network and the data is backed up locally. Under the protection of various management systems, the comprehensive long-term management goal of the muck truck is realized. The functions of the waste disposal management business are shown in Figure 1.
Three, summary
The muck truck management system based on RFID technology is based on RFID radio frequency identification products. The vehicle does not need to stop when entering and exiting the unearthed site and muck backfill site of the construction site. All identification and judgment are realized by the system remotely and automatically without manual intervention. Put an end to mistakes and cheating, so as to standardize the behavior of the dump truck in the transportation process, and realize the comprehensive long-term management of the dump truck under the protection of various management systems. The currently developed system has been promoted and applied in the sludge treatment plant of the Shenyang Environmental Protection Bureau, which can meet actual management needs. The above applications can also provide references for related transportation, logistics and other industries.
