2.4.3. Smart Search System
In many cases, readers know part of the names or types of books, and they have searched a lot of bookshelves and reading rooms but have not found the books they want. At this time, it is necessary to use the RFID intelligent search function, which can retrieve the books that the reader wants in a relatively short time.
Figure 6: Smart search flowchart
The intelligent search system completes the quick search of books. There are two ways to find book information and input: manual way and data download way.
1) Manual entry refers to directly entering the book information that needs to be searched into the portable search terminal, and multiple book information can be entered at one time.
2) The data download method refers to the connection of the wireless local area network with the business system, downloading the book information that needs to be searched entered by the administrator in advance to the handheld terminal, and searching for the book.
2.4.4. Automatic sorting system
At present, many books and materials in the library are reflected in the books. Readers find the book information through the retrieval system, and when they pick up the book from the shelf according to the category of the book, they often cannot find the book. This happens This is caused by the fact that the books are not placed in categories. After using RFID technology to manage books, the above-mentioned problems can be solved well.
The staff only needs to put the books returned by the readers into the automatic sorting machine. The automatic sorting machine integrates the electronic label and barcode information in the books, and automatically sorts the books according to the set program, so as to realize the rapid classification of a large number of books in the library. , Improve work efficiency, greatly reduce the phenomenon of disorderly homing and misclassification of books.

It can effectively improve the accuracy of the anti-theft system and ensure the safety of books.
Reduce workload and improve job satisfaction
The work of library staff is very heavy due to years of repetitive work. For example, relying on manual book inventory to have a large workload, it is easy to have certain negative thoughts about the work. In addition, readers are dissatisfied with the complex process of borrowing and returning books in the library, resulting in a decrease in library job satisfaction. Through the RFID intelligent library management system, the staff can be liberated from the daily heavy and repetitive work of the library, and personalized services can be customized for different readers, so as to realize the humanized operation process and improve the readers’ understanding of the work of the library. satisfaction level.
Strong label data retention and long lifespan
Barcode storage data is limited, and it is susceptible to damp, pollution and other limitations, which restricts the management of the library to a large extent. However, the storage area of electronic tags is large, and the data retention capacity can reach more than 100 years. Coupled with the characteristics of waterproof, antimagnetic, and high temperature resistance, the life of RFID electronic tags is much longer than that of barcodes. Due to the non-contact reading method, each electronic tag can be read more than 100,000 times at least, and the electronic tag can be used for a long time once it is attached.
