Application of RFID intelligent system in fish product management of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum
[ad_1]
1. Current status of fish collection management in Shanghai Science and Technology Museum
There are more than 700 fish specimens in the collection room of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, among which there are more than 200 fish specimens in the showcase, and about 500 fish specimens stored in the airtight room not placed in the showcase. The airtight room is composed of airtight cabinets, the shell is made of metal, and the depth of each airtight cabinet is about 1.2 meters. The showcase is made of glass, and the placement of fish specimens in the showcase is based on aesthetic considerations. At the same time, because the display cabinets are connected, some specimens will appear in the cabinet.
At present, the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum has not established a database of fish specimens, but only uses a simple ECXEL table to store relevant information of fish specimens. The fish collection management of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum is based on traditional management methods. The storage and retrieval of the collections requires a lot of human labor. Inventory also requires manpower to check the accounts and the physical objects one by one, which wastes manpower and material resources, and wastes financial resources.
2. System overview
This collection management system will categorize the collections according to the sea area, age, etc., to the collection storage department and the museum collection database, so as to give the physical management a reliable reference and be able to categorize and store more scientifically. The information on the storage location of the collection can also make it easy for managers to find out the specific location of the collection, discover unreasonable situations and correct them in time. With the help of the computer’s powerful statistical functions, the query and statistical work that the entire department could only complete within a few days can be completed within a few seconds. It is also very convenient to modify and supplement the data. Multiple data can be modified and supplemented and automatically synthesized by the computer to form new data. The use of RFID technology for information management, the establishment of its own collection management system, the distribution of electronic tags to the fish specimens of the exhibits, and the recording of detailed information will make the data management basically say goodbye to the era of paper and ink records, not only saving a large number of printing Office expenses for forms, cards, registration forms, and account books, and liberate warehouse managers from tedious and repetitive information management, and devote their main energy to the physical management of the collections, collection protection and collection research. In addition, the management of collections through FRID technology can also reduce the labor intensity of collections in and out of storage and inventory, and improve operation efficiency and accuracy.
Three, the system realizes the function
1. Specimen classification management
Assign different FRID tags to the fish specimens of the exhibits and record their detailed information. The specimens are classified according to family genus, sea area and age, etc., and different types are placed in different showcases. At the same time, the placement of specimens in the same showcase should be based on aesthetic considerations. In this way, the specimen management personnel can inquire according to the classification standards (family, genus, sea area, etc.), which not only enables the specimens to be classified and stored more scientifically, but also improves the efficiency of the staff.
2. Management of warehouse entry and exit
Set up a 915 reader at the door. When a fish specimen with a unique RFID affixed to it passes through the door, the reader will scan all the tags, and a program interface for warehouse management will appear on the display on the wall of the door, including all the necessary access Specimen information of the library, at the same time, the operation of choosing the storage and the reason for choosing the storage (new product storage, collection return, collection loan, collection exhibition, etc.) can be carried out. After completing a series of warehousing operations and verifying that they are correct, the warehousing information for this time can be transmitted to the back-end database server via the network. In addition, when the reader at the door reads the tag information, there is a signal (such as flashing lights or voice prompts) to remind the staff to carry out the related operations of entering and leaving the warehouse. After the completion of the work, the light will automatically disappear.
3. Inventory management
Number the glass cabinets, affix RFID tags that indicate the cabinet number, and divide the specimens into different cabinet numbers. When making an inventory, the staff holds an RFID reader, scans the cabinet number first, and then scans the collections in the cabinet. The handheld RFID reader will display the tag information read this time. After the staff confirms, the inventory data will enter the background database through the network. The staff take inventory in turn. When the inventory of all cabinets is completed, the staff can inquire and print out the difference table of the inventory number and the calculated inventory number from the computer terminal. If there is an inventory win or an inventory loss, the staff can review the inventory or manually adjust the existing inventory.
Four, system function
Comprehensive renovation of the exhibition area will improve the educational concept and display level as a whole. The target audience is positioned as pre-school children aged 3-6. Based on child psychology, we plan and design exhibits that meet the children’s physical and psychological characteristics based on the specific psychology, behavioral characteristics, and educational methods of the target children. Through hands-on demonstration projects and activities, children’s natural and scientific cognition are expanded, and children’s potential in sensory, artistic, emotional, and social aspects are inspired.
Calculating inventory: the ending data calculated through the beginning and the inbound and outbound data.
Inventory count: the number of tags scanned with a handheld RFID reader.
Five, the overall structure of the system
The overall structure of the system is shown in the figure below.
The overall process of the system: the server, the query terminal, the router and the terminal operating machine are respectively connected in a wired form. After the specimens are put in and out of the library on the terminal operating machine, the storage and exit information will be automatically uploaded to the server, and the staff can query through the query terminal Information about the entry and exit of the specimen. The handheld inventory machine and the server are connected in a wireless manner. During the inventory work, the inventory information scanned by the handheld inventory machine will be transmitted to the server in real time. The staff can also obtain the inventory information of the specimens by querying the terminal.
