1. System introduction

The Shanghai Chaowei Home-School Communication System uses IC card as the carrier as the attendance system, 2.4G long-distance radio frequency card as the positioning system, combined with advanced instant messaging (IM) software system, to realize access recognition, automatic attendance, safe SMS, campus Monitoring and positioning, intrusion alarm and other functions provide a complete set of solutions with independent intellectual property rights from identification cards to application systems. The RFID security system of Ping An Campus includes modules such as access recognition subsystem, data collection and monitoring service, WEB service and short message service. The overall structure is shown in Figure 1:

The basic process of system operation is as follows:

The access recognition subsystem installed in the school reads the identification card information through the card reader to complete the identification judgment of students entering and exiting the campus. The identification result is transmitted to the equipment monitoring service installed on the server through the network, and the latter writes the information into the access record database .

The core processing service of the system business detects the access record database, and generates attendance information and safety short messages based on the student and attendance strategy information in the core database. Attendance information is written into the core database, and Ping An SMS is written into the SMS database, and the SMS service is responsible for sending SMS to the student’s parents’ mobile phones.

Visitors hold 2.4G visitor cards when participating in campus activities, which can be recognized by 2.4G readers deployed on campus, and the data is uploaded to locate the location of the visitors.

Two, the system module

2.1 Visitor management module

After the visitor enters the school gate, he swipes his ID card at the guard to obtain identification information. After the ID card information enters the database, a 2.4G active card is issued, and the area that the visitor enters (such as parking lot, student library, restaurant lights) is set at the same time. When a visitor visits, the system displays the location of the visitor at any time. When a visitor enters the restricted area illegally, the system automatically sends an alarm message to the PDA held by the security guard. When the visitor ends the visit, the visitor returns the 2.4G visitor card to complete the visitor process.

2.2 Parent Pick-up Module

Each parent sends an IC card to transport the child to and from school. When parents pick up their children, show the pick-up card to the security guard. The security guard obtains the photo of the child and the parent by swiping the card with a hand-held PDA, and then they can be released after confirming the agreement.

2.3 System Management Module
The system management module is PC software, which is mainly used to manage teachers, parents, student photos, card numbers and student information. I believe the functions are shown in the next section.

Three, function introduction

3.1PC management terminal function (administrator use)

1. Student Management
Student record management.
The system can freely set students’ grades, classes and groups according to the school’s grade situation and organizational structure; add, delete, and modify campus card user details (including student basic information and parent information) at any time, add single campus card users or batches Add campus card users.

2. Teacher Management
Teacher personnel file management.
Record the school’s educational faculty, the overall level of the teacher, and can be specific to a teacher’s detailed information (including: teacher number, department, teacher’s name, date of birth, gender, educational background, title, home address, phone number, etc.) And work information (including personal learning experience, work experience, etc.);

3. Send an SMS
The SMS reporting module and the campus attendance module effectively cooperate to form a safe and real-time information-based home-school interactive attendance system. The attendance information after the students enter and exit the school by swiping their cards will be sent to the parents’ mobile phones in real time through the platform. At the same time, in order to prevent missed messages and failure to receive short messages due to problems such as weak parent mobile phone signals, the SMS reporting system will try to resend the specified number of times. Within the specified number of times, if the status report is not received correctly, it will try again. Send it to help parents better grasp the student’s school situation.

4. Identity Recognition and Access Recognition
The access control and attendance of home-school communication has changed the traditional management mode of swiping cards in the past. With a brand-new barrier-free open channel mode, when students wear a campus card to pass through, the system will automatically recognize and collect the information of passing students and automatically enter it into the system. Install the two card readers on the outside and inside of the school gate respectively. As shown in the figure, the two red squares represent the two readers A and B.

5. System Management
Powerful system management. The levels are system administrators and general administrators. The permissions for viewing, adding, modifying, and deleting records can be flexibly assigned as needed, and logins can be locked. Meet the needs of multiple roles and bring more practicality, convenience and safety to the system!
6. Query Statistics
Statistics of the attendance status of the whole class for a period of time can be generated and printed, and text messages can be sent to parents to report the situation in order to discover and solve problems in time, and prevent problems before they occur. Statistics of various classroom conditions and attendance of students can be calculated by class, grade, and individual.
7. Attendance Management
Set the leave category according to the actual situation of students asking for leave. Some students who are late due to special circumstances, leave early, leave sick, etc. or forget to check in, can sign in for them with the consent of their class teacher, regardless of their lateness, early leave and no check in.
8. Personnel positioning

3.2 Guard monitoring terminal (for guards)

The guard monitoring terminal consists of 2 parts
1. Guest card issuance
When a visitor comes to visit, he will hand the ID card to the guard, and the guard will issue the active card to the visitor as a visitor card after scanning. At the same time, define the area that visitors are forbidden to enter. Once the visitor enters the area, an alarm will be issued.
2. Visitor monitoring
The monitoring software on the guard PC can instantly monitor the status of visitors.Once visitors break into the restricted area, they will report to the police at any time
3.3 PDA terminal (for guards)
The handheld PDA contains an IC card scanning module, which mainly contains the following functions
1. Parent pick-up
Parents need to show their pick-up card when picking up students. The guard can swipe the card on the handheld PDA to display the photos of the parents and the corresponding students. They can be released after confirmation.
2. Visitor query
Once the visitor receives the card and enters the school, he can directly check the visitor’s current location on the PDA
3. Monitoring and alarm
Once the visitor enters the restricted area, the PDA can automatically alarm by sound and text

All the positioned 485 readers are connected to the 485 photoelectric isolator through the 485 cable. This isolator can connect 4 485 readers, and then connect the data line to the server COM port through the 485 to 232 interface, and finally the server receives all through the COM port 2.4G active reader data.
Notes on positioning:
All positioning readers will contain a unique address code, so that when the reader data is uploaded to the server, the server can distinguish which reader uploaded the data in time to locate the person’s location.
