1 Overview

The quality of fire-fighting facilities is related to the safety of the enterprise, and its daily maintenance and supervision are very important. Due to the different specifications, types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment, and scattered geographical locations, maintenance and supervision are inconvenient.

By installing RFID electronic tags on the fire-fighting equipment, the tags have built-in information about the fire-fighting equipment, and using RFID handhelds to read the electronic tags on the fire-fighting equipment to realize the daily inspection and maintenance management of the fire-fighting equipment.

 2. Demand analysis

Establish a unified fire-fighting equipment management platform, and uniformly register and manage all fire-fighting equipment of all subordinate units.

  3.2. System Architecture

The system consists of RFID electronic tags, RFID handsets, and RFID fire fighting equipment management system platform.

RFID electronic tags: stick on the surface of fire-fighting equipment, with built-in fire-fighting equipment data information. 900M UHF passive electronic tags are used for fire-fighting equipment management applications whose main requirements are scanning and inspection.

RFID Handheld: Mainly used in fire equipment inspection and fast scanning of fire equipment.

RFID fire-fighting equipment management system: mainly used for data management of fire-fighting equipment, inspection management, etc.

Handheld fire-fighting equipment management APP: realizes mobile fire-fighting equipment scanning and inspection of fire-fighting equipment.

 4. Main application process

 4.1. Fire fighting equipment scanning

The fire equipment scanning process is as follows:

The user holds an RFID handset to scan RFID electronic tags from a long distance.

The handheld fire-fighting equipment management APP automatically displays the relevant information (location information, quantity, life cycle, use status, etc.) of the fire-fighting equipment according to the read RFID electronic tag information.

 4.2. Fire equipment inspection

The user selects the fire-fighting equipment to be inspected on the fire-fighting equipment management platform, and generates an inspection task list.

The inspector uses the RFID handset to log in to the fire equipment management APP and download the inspection task list.

Inspectors use RFID handhelds to conduct inspections of fire-fighting equipment, and the fire-fighting equipment management APP prompts the scanned fire-fighting equipment information, the patrolled fire-fighting equipment, and the fire-fighting equipment that has not been inspected, and generates an inspection report.

The fire equipment inspection report is uploaded to the fire equipment management platform.

 4.3. Fire fighting equipment in and outLibraryManagement (optional)

Deploy access control RFID readers in the entry and exit channels to read the fire-fighting equipment in and out of the channel and generate record reports. There will be associated alarms when illegally leaving the warehouse.

 5. Main functions of the platform

  5.3. System function

  1) System management

System management is for the system administrator to manage and assign permissions to the users of the entire system. The sub-function modules under it include: role management, user management, permission setting, and password modification.

Role management: Assign roles to users of the system. Different roles have different permissions. In the role management page, you can create, edit, and delete roles.

User management: User management is the management of system user accounts and passwords by system administrators. They can add, delete, modify user information, and modify the activation status of users. (New users are inactive by default and need to be activated before they can be used)

Permission setting: The permission setting function is the function that the administrator assigns the permissions of the roles, and each role can only use the functions within its own permissions.

Password modification: The password modification function can modify the login password of the current user. To modify the password, you need to enter the old password.

 2) Fire equipment management

The fire-fighting equipment management function is to manage fire-fighting equipment, including registration and storage of fire-fighting equipment, modification of fire-fighting equipment information, deletion of fire-fighting equipment and binding of fire-fighting equipment tags, as well as fire-fighting equipment area management and regional authority management.

Area management: Area management is to manage the area where the fire-fighting equipment is located, including adding, modifying, and deleting fire-fighting equipment areas.

Regional authority management: Regional authority management is the authority that the administrator assigns to users. Except for the administrator (super), each user can only see the area and fire-fighting equipment within his own authority on the fire-fighting equipment management system platform.

Fire equipment data import: Fire equipment data import is the user importing the fire equipment information in the Excel template to the fire equipment management system platform.

Fire equipment data management: Fire equipment data management is a page for managing all fire equipment data, including functions such as adding, modifying, and deleting fire equipment information, and binding RFID tags to fire equipment.

 3) Fire equipment monitoring

The fire-fighting equipment monitoring function can monitor the passage of fire-fighting equipment at a specific location in real time and view past monitoring records.

Real-time monitoring: Real-time monitoring can view the current fire-fighting equipment passing status at the designated monitoring point

Monitoring records: Monitoring records can view the monitoring records of monitoring points.

 4) Inspection management

Inspection management is a functional module for the management of fire equipment inspections, including inspection task management, inspection records and abnormal fire equipment management.

Inspection task management: The inspection task function can create new inspection tasks, add or remove the fire equipment that needs to be inspected for the inspection tasks

Inspection result management: The inspection result page displays the inspection results of all inspection tasks, and can view the details of each inspection task.

Abnormal fire equipment management

Function description: The abnormal fire-fighting equipment page can view the abnormal fire-fighting equipment information submitted by the handheld terminal, and can modify and delete the abnormal fire-fighting equipment information.

 6. Main functions of RFID handset APP

The main functional structure of the RFID handset APP is as shown in the figure below

 1) Main interface

After entering the correct user name and password, enter the main page of the system. This software mainly includes four functional modules: fire equipment inspection, fire equipment scanning, data relations, and configuration tools.

2) Inspection of fire equipment

The fire equipment inspection function is to perform inspection tasks and inspect the fire equipment within the inspection task. After the inspection task is selected, it will display the fire equipment that has been inspected, not inspected, and the fire equipment that is not in the task, and the inspection is completed Then you can submit the inspection results to the server. If an abnormal situation is found in the fire-fighting equipment, the abnormal situation can be submitted to the server.

 3) Scanning of fire equipment

The fire-fighting equipment scanning function is used to read the fire-fighting equipment tags and obtain the corresponding fire-fighting equipment information, which can be used to find items, check abnormal conditions, etc.If an abnormal situation is found in the fire-fighting equipment, the abnormal situation can be submitted to the server

 4) Data update

The data update function is to make the handset download personnel, fire-fighting equipment, inspection tasks and other data from the server to the local.
