Medical management solution based on RFID wireless positioning system
[ad_1]
Yapu implements the Ekahau medical real-time positioning system in China and is an industry leader in providing WI-FI-based real-time positioning system (RTLS) equipment and solutions. The system uses the combination of RFID technology and WI-FI to make the business process data involved in tracking and positioning transparent, traceable and visible, further improving the management of the hospital and developing in the direction of refinement. Through this system, the hospital’s application foundation based on RFID tracking and positioning can be established, so that medical equipment, doctors, nurses, patients, etc. have a better tracking effect.
• System composition
◆ Wireless router equipment: ordinary wireless router
◆ T-301 (WI-FI) electronic label: EKAHAU’s newly developed new WI-FI active label, the battery life can reach 5 years, and there are two command buttons to start other applications. At the same time, there are mobile sensors and anti-dismantling devices inside.
◆ Positioning Engine (EPE)
◆ Site Survey
◆ Application software: including Tracker, Finder, Ekahau Vision
• Process design
The WIFI positioning tag is installed on the target object (asset or person) to be tracked. The positioning tag periodically sends out wireless signals. After the access point (AP) receives the signal, it transmits the signal to the positioning engine EPE. The strength of the wireless signal is calculated and judged to determine the location of the tag, and its specific location is displayed through the EkahauVision visualization interface to achieve real-time accurate positioning and tracking and management.
◆ On-site positioning accuracy of assets and personnel can reach up to 1 meter, depending on the on-site environment, it can generally reach about 3 meters;
◆ Each WIFI location tag has a globally unique code, which is associated with the information of the corresponding asset equipment and personnel, such as asset name, model, time, attribution, and personnel’s name, title, department and other information;
◆ The WIFI positioning tag actively transmits signals to the AP at regular intervals, and the transmission period can be set by the user according to actual needs;
◆ The WIFI positioning tag has two-way communication and alarm functions. If the tag bearer encounters an emergency, he can press the emergency call button to ask the management department for help; at the same time, if there is an emergency or work needs, the management department can also pass the tag Send text messages similar to BP machines and SMS to notify the label bearer in time;
◆ The user can monitor the battery of the WIFI positioning tag in real time;
◆ Users can monitor and manage location information in real time on the software interface, such as asset and personnel location, time record of the last location information, location movement record and event management, etc.;
◆ The user can use the software to virtually set different areas in the field, such as setting up “no entry zone”, “alarm zone” and dividing the space into a number of virtual grid-like rooms, etc.;
◆ Through the real-time positioning system, users can simultaneously locate and track up to 20,000 objects to be tracked and six hundred objects per second.
• Location application
Medical staff positioning:
Use the system to locate the medical staff and understand their location. In an emergency, hospital staff wearing tags can press the alarm button to ask for help. The alarm signal can be sent to the security monitoring equipment and sent to them via SMS. In the phone.
Patient positioning:
The patient’s electronic tag can be fixed on the arm. The tag has a two-way connection with the hospital system. There is an alarm button on the tag when a dangerous situation occurs. The patient can call the medical staff for help by pressing the button.
Medical equipment positioning:
In actual work, in the event of emergency rescue and diagnosis and treatment, it is necessary to quickly know where to find available wheelchair beds, surgical kits, infusion pumps, retractors and other medical instruments and equipment. In order to be able to find suitable equipment quickly, the hospital reserves too many similar materials or temporarily leases additional equipment, most of which are either idle or inefficient. At the same time, due to misplacement, theft and other reasons, the loss of mobile medical equipment is serious every year. The “low visibility” of these important assets often leads to a serious waste of time and resources, and even causes irreparable consequences. The system can ensure that medical equipment can be found quickly (no matter where in the hospital), and by reducing the search time, it enhances the maintenance and management of the equipment.
