In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to use a mobile operation management system to strengthen the management of the hotel, and at the same time help companies improve the company’s image and service quality.

1. Description of functional requirements

Terminal login. Since all staff use IC cards as employee cards, in order to facilitate the login operation, two login methods are provided. One is to use the employee card as the account, and only need to enter the password to log in. The other is that the operator manually enters the account and password to complete the login operation. All logins are completed in real time by calling the WebService on the remote synchronization server through the wireless network. When logging in, all relevant latest data of the person will be captured to the mobile phone to ensure the data consistency between the front and the back.

Breakfast meal. All meal card swiping is completed in real-time online operation. When the service staff swipes the mobile phone with the room card, the mobile phone will submit the data to the server for verification in real time. If there are available breakfast vouchers, they will be deducted in the background system in real time, and the number of remaining breakfast vouchers will be reported. If the deduction is unsuccessful, a message will be sent back to the client. At the same time, in order to prevent the repeated submission of breakfast coupon deductions, a unique serial number will be generated every time the client submits to the backend, and the backend system will perform unique verification based on the serial number to prevent repeated submissions.

Room cleaning. A list of all rooms to be cleaned will be displayed on the mobile phone, and the list of cleaned rooms will be arranged according to priority and so on. The room staff selects a room and clicks “Confirm”, the system starts to calculate the start time, and the cleaning items for the room will be displayed at the same time. When the cleaning is completed, the room staff check the cleaning status record and description of the room, and click the “Finish” action at the same time, and the system will record the end time of the room cleaning in time. And submit this part of the data to the background in real time to update the room status. At the same time, the status of the room will be refreshed on the main interface.

Foreman inspection. When the foreman conducts a foreman inspection, all the room numbers that have been sorted out on the day will be displayed. The foreman can randomly select a store from these room numbers for inspection, and enter the inspection status of the room on the mobile phone to score the inspection room. , Evaluate the inspection status (pass or fail), and record the cleaning status (sanitary details). The data will be submitted to the background server in real time after the check is completed.

notification. After the background enters the message notification in the system, it can be pushed to the foreground through data. One is to push messages with high urgency to the user’s mobile phone in a timely manner through short messages. For those messages with low urgency, these messages are proactively acquired through regular terminal training (for example, through terminal training once every hour).

Security Question. The data communication between the terminal and the background system uses SSL encryption to ensure the security of the data channel during the entire transmission process. At the same time, because we still cache data on the terminal, in order to ensure the security of the data stored on the entire terminal, we use a 128-bit encryption method for the data on the terminal.

Update automatically. Automatic update technology is a set of mature solutions. Our automatic update can automatically update according to the current version of the terminal and the latest version of the system.

Data interface. The data interaction between us and Hanting’s existing system is carried out in the form of WebService. Through this interface, all the data needed by our system can be captured, and the entire interface is also customized according to our requirements.
The data form is configurable. With the continuous refinement of room cleaning and cleaning, the consideration standards may also continue to change, and our system can be configured very flexibly to meet new business needs.

Terminal permissions can be configured. Because the entire terminal system currently only covers the roles of room staff, supervisors, and breakfast waiters. With the gradual promotion of the system and the gradual increase of functions, the user’s authority on the terminal will continue to change. In order to be able to meet this ever-changing permission requirement, it is necessary to flexibly configure the permissions of personnel with different roles in the background.

2. Network transmission and traffic

User-based terminals need to interact with back-end systems based on a wireless network. In order to minimize the network’s influencing factors, GPRS network can be considered as the main connection method and WIFI network as the backup connection method.

Due to existing requirements, all customer information is purely textual. Therefore, the amount of data transmitted every day after compressing the data according to the workload involved by each person ranges from about 150 to 200 KB. According to the existing Unicom or China Mobile’s data flow package policy, a minimum package of RMB 5 and 30MB per month can meet the daily data flow demand.
